They did a FABULOUS job giving the game a facelift, but man… just ten minutes in and I was missing Diablo 3. So much of the gameplay feels archaic… the way spells work, dealing with stamina (ugh)… Definitely a good nastalgia rush though!
I would imagine the later generation that started with Diablo 3 and has never played D2 before… they would probably be a little dissapointed and would wonder what all the hub bub is about. But for those of us who grew up with D2, will probably get a little more enjoyment out of it.
I do miss having a party of 8… wish that carried over to D3.
