It’s been pretty cool. Long time casual player. Looks great play great. Got some complaints though
1.) Nothing really new
Been nice if there was some new juicy content/items/set/uniques/gems new areas. Maybe traveling from one act to another on foot looking for uniques etc specific to those areas. Nice paint job though
2.) Merc AI is slow
It’d be nice of the merc was smarter. Like very useful smart. It has really weird and nonsensical AI. I’m practically dying from trying to get my Rogue in position to shoot at dudes. Auto potion would be nice. Iron Man is a difficult game to play HC with no help

Where have you been? This isn’t a new game, it is a remaster. But look at patch notes they are releasing new runewords, updated items/sets/cube recipes for first ladder patch. Why do you want new areas…what happens when you press “G” is it blank because the area doesn’t exist in classic d2…?
Merc AI has always been trash unless you have Enigma to teleport around with him. But they have already updated how mercs and summons follow you and considering how there are still complaints, blizz will probably look at additional merc fixes eventually…

Eh, it’s a remaster, sure, but the team that used to add development updates dissolved a long time ago. It looks like they, once again, have a development team.
So, we have been living in reality, where developers are going to continue to add content and features to this game.
That being said, I think they’re just taking baby steps and testing the waters with these changes. Don’t want to upset the people who have been doing Meph runs non-stop for the past 20 years
