Disclaimer: I ask no pity, nor sympathy as I understand the consequence of my actions.
But
I have recently lost a 72 HC sorc to a 56 Paladin thinking I could take him LUL
Lesson learned
The real issue
I lost my next hero a 16 sorc to a trick that I didn’t know.
Now…I know the trick now…but I had to learn it in a way that damages the whole HC community.
A 18 Paladin asked for help with cube
I offered to help
Took his TP to Ricky wasteland…ugh I wish I saw it coming but I thought I was being nice… and obviously he hostile me in town.
The sad part of it all is…now I won’t be offering help to my fellow HC community.
And it saddens me to think someone would abuse someone’s kindness like that…I wish I could hug my killer and tell them that I forgive them. I feel like they need it.
One of the main reasons I play solo, you can’t trust anyone. Never know when some maniac is just going to pop you just because they feel like it. They need to see a therapist or something, that’s some serial killer tendencies right there.
Without fail. You’re not rolling a 1d20, you’re flipping a coin.
I’m never trusting in D2. People say other games are toxic, particularly team based games like Valorant, Overwatch, League etc. but they just don’t know any better. Having something stolen or a character killed and losing potentially dozens of hours is something only older millennials remember. Ever suffered running back to your body in Everquest only to die again while trying to get your gear from your body and losing 8 hours of competitive xp farm for one mistake?
Or XXX want’s to hostile you, do you accept? In the party screen.
However there are more ways of Grieving (blocking a door can actually be one) that are sometimes solved by Hostiling, don’t think there is a no more grieving fix.
They need a right hook in the face, this behavior won’t be stopped with hugs, although maybe a good bear-hug.
Yeah was my first thought aswell, hence it will only light up in the party screen.
Maybe something simple as the hostile button becomes yellow if XXX hostiles you.
If you click it you become hostile and can PvP, you can let it remain yellow and nothing happens.
Clicking party once will turn of the yellow box and thus let the other know you will not hostile or possibly having it become neutral again after 1 minute if not accepted.
Hello! I have been playing diablo 2 resurrected for a very long time, but after your recent update, a lot of things disappeared from the chest on a character of level 93, almost 94, especially I was very upset and angry that all the rare runes disappeared, and I collected them for a very, very long time , and some even bargained. I spent a huge amount of time and effort to collect these runes, and now I have no desire to play the game because everything is gone. Can you please tell me how to get back at least the runes? there were not many of them, but I collected them for a very long time and with difficulty. according to the runes it was about 7 ist, 1 ber, 2 fal, 1 pul, 3 ko, 2 lem, 2 pul, 1um, 1mal, 1 gul. there were still a lot of rare things, but things are much easier to find. I would at least return the runes, not a lot of them, but they were very difficult and took me a long time. I hope for your understanding. Thank you. Best regards to you and your game.
thats not how it works, if he hostiled you in town his Tp dissapears, he never entered it and killed you. if your saying you took his tp , he hostiled you and re-entered it and killed you its made up lol cause he wouldnt have a tp to enter
get used to leave game no questions asked instantly the millisecond you hear the hostile horn.
it’s part of the basic things you should know
finding a new game/rejoining the game is not much trouble to save a potential death. dont listen to your ego, quit right as the horn sound is playin lol
it was much worse back in the day when BMPK ppl were rampant. i still have ptsd
BMPK oh yes… You mean the losers using hacks “triggers”? Even worse it’s “TPPK” . Purists gloat about those I guess. No surprise here since they trade with exploiters and claim drop rates are fine.
