Cal-m 1.6, A rank CPL starcraft bw, 2400 3s WoW pvp, Diamond 3 Valorant. Still playing D2 for the pvp aspect all throughout these. Very fail at competitive games though.

Iāve never heard of any. There are pvp events on that forum iirc, but you get rewarded with FG.
Iām not sure if you included me here, but Iām not arguing against it. Iām well aware itās one of the best economy sinks in the entire game because nobody in their right mind would spend 40 ber runes on trophy items just so they can kill monsters with them. However, if I wanted to play a pvp game, I would just pick up dota 2 and even get to play with pros because I have a pretty high mmr. There are no stakes in diablo 2 pvp and I still believe its nature is rock paper scissors at times.
I havenāt been active in PvP for years in D2, but back then, you had tournaments with entry fees and real money prices.
I was pointing at the haters that want to ruin a game mode for no reason.
I always preferred pvp games with an even playing ground or where skill and experience are more important than gear or unlock-able content. D2 pvp was always fun due to the latter and deserves to be balanced and considered in changes.

Its not even on d2jsp anymore. There is a few discords dedicated to PvP. People there organise tournaments every week

so when balancing or making strongh and viable builds we need to ignore at 100% PvP.
This game was made for pvp and pvm. Thatās why they added pvm and pvp.

You know that there was PvP option from day 1?
You know this game was made for both modes?

Yea Amazon didnāt need any Bow skills buffed they are already too strong.
Guided Arrow is a PvP skill, just like Bone Spirit is a PvP skill. They are for PvP not PvM. There are specific PvP skills/talents. This game is both a PvP and PvM game and no buffs should be made to try and make PvP skills viable in PvM. The old Devs understood this.
PvP is vital to this games success and economy. If they mess up the PvP meta then PvM falls apart and MFing becomes pointless since the economy is trashed.

There is no such thing as pvp skill. Boths Bone spirit and guided arrow are used in PvM.

Wrong. There are talents/skills there were specifically designed for PvP. Can you use them in PvM? Sure, but they were designed for PvP and thus are PvP skills. Itās not complicated.
So trying to make PvP designed skills viable in PvM destroys the intricate balance needed for this game. Since PvP has always been so important to D2ās success and longevity. PvM canāt work if PvPās balance is messed up. Which is why the āOLDā Devs always made sure to not buff talents used specifically in PvP up for PvM purposes. It could ruin the overall game for everyone.

Wrong, they are not, every skill is primary used for pvm, but majority can be also used in pvp. Not all skill of course because main focus is on pvm. Its really not complicated.

PvP never was balanced and it will never been balanced.
They canāt destroy the game for the pleasure of a very few players that do PvP consistenly.
