Before, (less then 48 hours ago), ques wasn’t so bad, count down at fairly decent rate.
Now, with this new patch put in yesterday, ques are horrendous.
Whats even worse then that, before que finishes, I get message, disconnected from servers, like it timed out or something.
I know for certain this is on Bliz or battlenet side.
I had tried to get in to play since last night. Not once was I able to get in to play, and even this morning, tried again, larger ques, and same thing happens again. Everytime, end up disconnected.
This happen 44 or 5 times in a row, so far, and not once was I able to play.
Never had this server disconnect issue till after this latest patch.
From what I was experiencing before the last patch, was much more stable, and I had not had any crash to desktop like I did in the past.
Please fix this asap. I am usually too busy to play durinbg the week, working 12 or more hours a day, and on weekends, I try spending much of my time with my Little Butterfly (my daughter).

It’s like waiting in like at Disneyland. 3 minutes of fun for 2 hours of wait.

One night I log in, I am on 3rd on queue. Went to bathroom and when I came back, I was in. Played 4 hours straight. No joining of games. I dont need a carry. I dont need trading of runes from mobs I didnt kill. I killed mobs immune to me. I had a blast.

I killed swarms of Stygian Dolls… killed Mephisto and Diablo. I had a blast.
Last night, 5 minutes on queue while I look for a costume for Halloween. After a while, I got in but not finished looking for costume. It took me an hour on finding a costume and I am still inside the game. I played 3 to 4 hours straight. No joining of games. I dont need a carry. I dont need trading of runes from mobs I didnt kill. I killed Nihlathak and I killed the 3 Ancients… I had a blast.
Tonight I will kill Baal on Hell… all of these on Solo. I am very excited. This game is very addicting. And this is my ongoing thrilling experience of Diablo. I love Solo. I hate Multiplayer anyways as I believe Multiplayer = Cheating.

Queued at 500+ 2 hours ago. Get down to position 5, upon login get immediately moved into offline mode. Try online again, queue at 187, haven’t moved in 15 minutes. Blizzard really sucks a fat one.
1.) You play Baalruns
2.) When the game is over, you have to create or join a new server.
3.) You receive an error message: You have no internet connection, please wait.
4.) You wait from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
5.) You try to join the server, but you get a message that it is full.
I’m a big fan of D2, but this is starting to be frustrating. So I decided to uninstall the game at the moment untill they fix their crappy servers.
And then people get fed up with that crap and they try to make the baalrun before the host, and then the host ends up getting the same issue.
I got up this morning and tried to log into NA - 520 queue.
Then I tried to log into EU - 320 queue.
Yeah. Queue city is what this game is.
I love the part where you type the wrong name by accident, try to join but it becomes the biggest mistake you’ve ever made.

I can’t even imagine how stupid one must be to think playing multiplayer in a game with a largely multiplayer base is cheating. Why even play online then? Seriously, stick to offline play and save the servers for the real players.

Becoz I know I have old friends there who played Diablo 2 back then. If they want to play together, I have an Online toon on-the-go.
And to me the real multiplayer is on D3 where you could trade stuffs from mobs/bosses you killed together. Trading for stuffs from mobs/bosses they killed on a different game is cheating to me. They traded you Jah and Ber runes becoz they are way more powerful than you. Cmon stop it. I hate carries.

D2jsp is necessary. What people fail to understand is the market gets so saturated that eventually HRs lose their value and can no longer be traded for truly gg items.
If I have a FCR ring with +20 str, 40 life, 90 mana, and 15 all res, at a certain point, even an entire account of Ber runes will not be worth this. That’s the whole reason d2jsp was created, so there could be a universal currency used for truly gg items that can no longer realistically be traded for with in game items.

You nailed it. This is also my experience lately.
I can understand the reason for a Queue, and why they are limiting the pace of game creation while trying to mitigate and work on a better solution…
HOWEVER, as you pointed out, even if you “fail” to connect or join a game ( Even if the game doesnt exist ) this uses up our temporary allowance of attempts? (1 connection per 2 mins?) Seriously? I cant event join my own private games outside the lobby? This is a very rude way of blocking players from playing and slowing us down. How dare we have too much fun too fast.
And they couldnt even bother to interject a REAL error message, explanation, or description. All you get is the most generic connection error that points the blame on YOU for not being connected to the internet… when… you clearly ARE on the internet.
Is this a cruel halloween joke or something?
did Diablo really intervene to have a big ol laugh at all of us trying to push our way through a connection portal?

Zero queue today. If you have some kind of tech issue you should go to the forum for that instead of screaming insults at people in General Discussion just because they can log in. Most people can, tons of people are playing while you’re either pretending there are huge queues or experiencing some glitch you refuse to report.
