there are thousands of people locked out because the server says we already are playing in a game on the server. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? We cannot even make new characters.

The character it happened on, it’s level was reduced one and then the exact message reads, “Failed to enter game. This character already in game on the server. Try again soon” I just clicked it again now it’s saying, “An issue occurred while communicating with the game servers, please check you are on the internet and try again”

If you make a new normal character and try to join a game the message reads, “Error joining game” “Join failed” then the same “An issue occurred while communicating with the game servers, please check you are on the internet and try again”

I can however start and play a hardcore character.

For what it’s worth -

I was doing baal runs and we just killed baal, everyone left, then I left and now it says i’m stuck in the game.

Please acknowledge you are working on this!!! (update - blizz acknowledged it on tweeter, link is shared below around message 50)

Happened same way to me doing baal runs left, tried to join next one, got error, stuck for 18 hours now

Count yourself lucky that you have gotten into the game at all…

Yup, I’m also having same issue for the last 2 hours. Can’t enter existing game or create new game.

Blizzard employees are too busy drinking copious amounts of alcohol as they crawl their way through various cubicles in the office and often engage in inappropriate behavior toward female employees

One of my other posts got moved by a forum mod to be pinned with another post, so atleast that’s some sort of recognition by them

I assumed being that I’ve had no issues that the problems were fixed. that does suck.

On a side note… Baal runs? Is no one taking the time to enjoy before they begin to rush their characters?

I took all day to play my character and I did not start a baal run till I was 32 and played the whole normal, i did 4 baal runs and then this happened…

Technically to get to Baal you probably went through “most” of the game so….most people already kinda did.

i was 58 on nm baal runs, why is it always on baalruns this issue happens? is this the new “realm down” as we joined too many games too quick?

I was doing normal Baal runs as well when it locked my character.

I just meant they couldn’t have taken the time to see and enjoy the game. They went right into rushing to do Baal runs.

I did like like 4-5 trist runs in the beginning and didn’t find this happening. I think its something to do with characters being saved to the server. Cause when this happened, i lost a level on my character.

Create a new game. There’s nothing you can do atm!
