How can I become one of the great elite players that finds everything first day of ladder? How do i go about finding anything at all for the character I’m using? Rng is not real and if it is it’s not working for my game because nothing but blue magic crap drops from every enemy including bosses. Fix the drop rates period. I want to enjoy all the crazy runewords and items also they shouldn’t be for just elite players with no lives.
No one finds everything on the first day of ladder. Not solo anyway. Those people are either working within a community, or they are over paying ridiculous amounts to get their gear early. I’m talking hundreds to thousands of dollars for stuff that will have no real value in a week.
If you are looking to do it yourself, you are looking at it the wrong way. Instead of trying to jump right to the end game, you need to learn how to farm mid level gear, and get yourself in to a position to be able to farm more. I already told you how to get your magic find up in the other topic. I could go in to a lot more detail if you would like. If you can find 1 or 2 good pieces on the first day, people will overpay for them. Even stuff like Shako and Occulus will go for much higher than their value early. And you are probably going to have to trade to full gear your character.
You are also making the mistake of thinking
All blues are crap. There is a lot of value in some of that stuff. For example 2/20 gloves, Jmod shields rings, amulets, charms.
This game doesn’t have smart loot, you may even need to consider switching builds or characters based on what you find.
