The artificial limiting of the games list by blizzard is getting REALLY DAMN OLD right now. There are not FIVE freakin people playing bnet public games in ALL of the Americas right now, yet my games list insist only 5 people are. I can’t even practice for ladder in public games because Blizzard is doing this. What is wrong with this company, I’m nearing my limit with these idiots.
It is not a REAL list. You could see the real list by switching to EU, playing a game, then coming back to Americas. You would see 25+ games before the first auto refresh, at which point it became 2-3 games again. But looks like that fixed that so it won’t work anymore. Now it just lists ZERO games in Europe. So don’t try to tell me people quit and that’s why.
Blizzard is doing this on purpose. I cannot even play the game with others in this RETAIL RELEASE that’s been out for 6 months because Blizzard is intentionally making it impossible because of what is essentially beta testing. TIRED OF IT.

The cute thing is you believe Ladder is going to see a massive surge of players returning.
They try to do too much, with too little stuff or something. Often, small but more regular update is better.
The problam with huge but “took too long” update is, the waiting period. The huge part is okay. My GF agreed, but people tired of waiting will quit & many will not come back.
Has anyone played a game, that you get bored, or disappointed. Finally, after much delay, they improved, but you are like ," sure, not coming back again, the train has left" like Cyberpunk.
6 months for an update for live service game is bad move. The problem I see of halo & D2R are, you have people trying to make a live service, but mindset is still of making a “boxed” game, where constant update & delays ain’t as critical as Live service game.
I worked in a Automotive development industry as a developer. We have a radical concepts called Schedule & deadlines, & we alwas work towards these. If you delay one deadline, the next does not moved! There is no rubber time.
If D2R wanted to be a LIVE service game, then the development stucture must be made as such & every member need to have mindset and work flow of a Live servce game developer.
You have to admire Blizzards tolerance of players with paid for Uber items (Un-killable with normal items) Unofficial bosses in the form of Hard-Core Uber item Player Killer/Griefers. This is obviously a winning strategy to attract new players into HardCore gaming, hands up those who want to get punched in the face when they walk down the street? (But its OK to do it In-game because pixels don’t hurt, Yeah right.) I have witnessed lvl 60+ players destroyed by lvl 13 Assassins and lets be clear as a business strategy by allowing this to happen nobody is going to want to be coming back for more of that sort of ****.

I was trying to level up a pally last night. 5-6 games on the list. Took an hour before a tombs game showed up. But even that DIDN’T show up on the list. I just randomly tried Tombs01, and entered a game with some dude running tombs. Finally after getting to 25, I began waiting for baal games and making baal games. No one. Hours went by I just quit playing.
The games are out there, just not showing on lists. Blizzard is killing their own game by intentionally not showing the full list.
I’m about to make a website where you can post your game name and description, with timestamps on it since Blizzard can’t seem to handle this.

Something is definitely wrong. Here I am on Friday night trying to level up a player in NM and there’s like 9 games in the list with a total of 15 players in those games. Come on now you know there’s more NM players out there. Where’s the list? Shoot there’s is like 5 Slayers in the lobby.

Yeah. The other night, the “true” gamelist appeared and I screenshot it. After the first refresh, all the games disappeared besides a few. This is game breaking. If it continues, I won’t be able to play this anymore. I enjoy the game mostly for the public games.

Currently, my nightmare list is completely empty. Yet I have friends running public nightmare games. This is beyond ridiculous.
