I really don’t want to do another sorc, and the buffs to sin in this season look pretty godly.
Where do I take it, and what are some good items to pursue now? I usually play necro.
From my solo experience Lightning damage is pretty bad in Hell without Infinity. I think you can try getting Lightning sunder charm + Crescent Moon. There are no easy to access area lvl 85 without lightning immunes.
I usually just farmed Pindle on my trapsin without Infinity.
Don’t get discouraged op. It’s still super fun character overall to play through game.

Early strategy for trapsin is Nila farming with tele staff. You can also easily farm arcane, pits, eld shenk and pindle.
You got mindblast for meat shields and fire blast for immunes.
With sunder and a few +skills you can now also farm CS
Easy, I farm all areas at 92 with crap resist with one. I mean it is not the build for ubers but that is not any area you cannot farm with one. Sunder, and crescent will handle any area up to 3 man groups, after that the DPS is a bit lacking. Immunes do not really matter post hell anymore. Sunders drop like hotcakes and it is not hard to get some pen going to make use of them fully. Either way, I can run even the most ugly areas for other builds. You do not really even need to get near anything, hand full of lighting sentry, and a death sentry to make entire groups pop. Walk onto the screen, loot and repeat. Even Baal gets cheesed by a trapsin.
