Think about it from the bot perspective it may change your mind

You are a lonely bot

Spend ur life grinding away to sell gear humans like for pennies (in terms of runes, fg, whatever)

No one wants to play with you

Every thread u see hates on you

And you didn’t even ask to be born

Poor robots

when interacting with chatbots, im always very friendly.

once they take over, i wanna be on their good side.

What’s weird is how similar that sounds to actual human existence, eh?

Maybe we’re just bots of another kind…

A bot is simply a tool. It’s like saying look at it from Mike Meyers knife, or Jason’s machete point of view. Or even just the yard boys mower point of view.

A tool is simply an extension of whoever is controlling it.

Well, not exactly. Mike Meyer’s knife requires Mike Meyers to wield it, actively. The lawn mower requires a person to wield it, actively. A bot, once created, can function entirely on its own. It is “a new form of life” in a way. Less a tool and more of a…faux human.

The one in control must still supply it a computer to run on, an active internet connection, electricity… They might not be actively controlling it, but they are actively supporting its function in some way.

Too bad my yard isn’t flat. :stuck_out_tongue:

I for one welcome our BOT masters.

I mean, it’s a good point.
If we’re not careful, perhaps this is how Skynet truly begins.

Ah, but there’s the rub/distinction.

Don’t worry, automation is going to invade our daily lives soon enough…

“Eliminates dangerous, repetitive, boring tasks.”
Someone is going to hack their TeslaBot to play D2:R for them.
