If it was really for the purists then we would be able to spam games to infinity while only waiting 2-3 seconds between games, to be safe.
Also loading screens would be 1 second or less.

Do these guys even have a brain? All these servers issues and somehow people are still trying to make this about blaming other players. I said it last night to somebody else equally ignorant and I’ll say it again, this game was never going to be far off from the original D2. Do people actually think the “purists” are responsible for them not re-coding the game from the ground up? And somehow that “improved” version of the game wouldn’t have these issues. I just… I can’t…

Yup. I added eldritch and shenk to my pindle runs now to make up for the time. Sucks a bit because I can’t use my faster blizzard sorc for that combo. Not too bad though using a trapsin.

Why did they nerf the time?
20 years ago, the servers were good enough to whithstand people creating many games per minute, if they are having overload issues right now it means that something’s completely off…

Because Blizzard is full up with incompetence. Every action or reaction is made with spite and laziness. They still haven’t fixed the block button in the Lobby so gold spammers can’t be blocked. Their fix to that will likely start with a blindfold and shotgun.

This is now getting ridiculous why was the time nerfed? I made a game went afk for a bit killed the council in Travincal left and was still unable to create a game. I know that some people will say “just don’t farm 1 quick spot and farm more” yeah that’s a great solution but some people like grinding only 1 spot others to farm more in one game before quitting. It worked perfectly with the initial cooldown between game creation before and the servers were stable for the most part… Now with the new issues instead of fixing them we are nerfing the farm time even more …

This is even worse than I thought. I tried to create a game and it said the game already existed, so I changed my game name and tried to create again. I still got the error telling me to check my internet just for TRYING to make a game that already existed. This was right after I even logged in, so I hadn’t even made any games prior. Now just trying and failing to even join or create a game triggers the timer. Before the timer triggered after you started a game, not after you left a game like it does now. This is completely horrible and honestly I don’t even want to play anymore now. It messes with everything since the timer triggers after you leave a game. Now you have to wait for 30-45 seconds after leaving a Baal run to even join or create the next game. It’s so bad now.

It’s because Blizzard doesn’t have devs any more. They have Technical Analysts.
Just monkeys to flip switches and do things within the software tools that were created for them by devs.
Any actual developmental programming is outsourced so some cheap labor company in China to save money.

Yeah this damn near makes it unplayable. I have gotten in 2 games in 20 mins trying to get in a baal run. I might have to go back to POE and I have been waiting for this release for YEARS.

Pretty much this. This company has human resource departments, and psychiatrists employed. That should give you a sense of how far off the mark they are from actually being “gamer / game developers” themselves.
Blizz North is gone… long gone. And frankly, if they were around today, i bet they wouldnt be much different than all the rest. All we can do is relish in the glory of what once was. It surely is no more.

i could agree with this, even after i have folded my support for GGG fair time ago. It sure did shine, and to many still does.
But it all started with D2.
