Data Analyse, For PTR 2.4
Multi Shot and Guided Arrow: 240%
1st: 566.21 x 19.4/17 = 646.14 ->Case III, faith + desert merc with might and con, 7f
2nd: 545.55 x 16.4/14 = 639.07 ->Case II, WF+desert merc with might and con, 9f,
3rd: 526.35 x 12.9/10.5 = 646.65-> Case I, WF+ roger merc with faith, 7f,
Strafe: 300%
1st: 566.21x 20/17 = 666.12 ->Case III, faith + desert merc with might and con, 7f
2nd: 545.55 x 17/14 = 662->Case II, WF+desert merc with might and con, 9f,
3rd: 526.35 x 13.5/10.5 = 676-> Case I, WF+ roger merc with faith, 7f,
Concludion:
I. 3 auros, fana + might + con take the first place. it’s reasonable. cost: 2 - 3 bers?
II. WF has very close performance to faith (~5%), (1st vs 2nd, 4th vs 5th), cost: 1 vex vs 1 ber;
III. merc faith has better performance than faith in hand with desert merc; (3rd vs 4th); it’s a bigger difference, so let merc takes faith if u don’t have pride;
IV. Make pride first, then faith (2nd vs 3nd and 4th).
V. start from WF,
u can have 21% more dmg (3rd vs 5th), when u have merc faith;
u can have 25% more dmg(2nd vs 5th), when u have pride;
u can have 30% more dmg(1st vs 5th), when u have both;
VI. pride is enough(+25%), and faith doesn’t worth much(+5%).
VII. WF vs Faith:
1. WF grow curve:
353.55(7th, 9f) ->435(5th, with might, 9f, +23%)->545.55(2nd, 9f, with might + con, +54%);
->526.35(3rd, with fana, 7f)->
2. Faith grow curve:
404.57(6th, 7f)->471.92(4th, 7f, with might, +16%)->566.21(1st,7f, with might+con, 40%);
3. In all cases, faith has higher dpf than WF, but the difference between them, dmg of Faith over WF is:
14.4% -> 8.4% (under might, 210ED)-> 3.8% (under might + con, 495ED)
4. More auros bring more ed, which make the dmg of WF grow faster than Faith. it indicates it is possible that more ed could make WF have better performance over Faith! Remember, in all of these cases, WF just shot in 9F! if ur buddy's pal(even faith ama) supply u a lvl 20 fana, ur WF can get to 7f and more ED, then it could be predicted that WF will have much better performance over all faith!
VIII. bowama has very limited space for improvement (30%) once u have WF, even till u get to the end game;
IX. max vs dex=ED,
For WF:
1. 1max = 9 max dmg (without merc) = 14max dmg (with merc, might+con) = 7 avg dmg;
2. 1dex = 1 - 6.5 dmg = ~3.75 avg dmg;
3. 1max= 1.87dex;
For Faith:
1. 1max = 17 max dmg(with merc, might+con)=8.5 avg dmg;
2. 1dex= 1.5-3dmg=2.25 avg dmg;
3. 1max=3.78dex;
1 max is better than 1 dex/ED in all cases, but it could be stated that dex/ED is better for WF, and max is better for Faith;
15 max = 28ED for WF; 15 max = 56.7ED for faith; so WF should choose 40ED jewel; faith should choose 15 max jewel;
X. For faith, 1 basic avg dmg in base= 4.45 avg dmg in faith(330+15ED) = 8.9 max in gears;
so, diamond bow(36.5 avg dmg) = Great Bow (32 avg dmg) + 40.05 max,
=Hydra Bow(39) - 31.15 max = GMB(43) -57.85 max
= Matri Bow(33.5) + 26.7 max;
this comparison is right just in the case they shot in same attack speed.
XI, GMB vs Matri faith,
GMB(43)=Matri Bow(33.5)+84.55 max in gear=Matri Bow(33.5) + 718 avg dmg in dashboard = Matri Bow(33.5) + 102 avg dmg per frame (if they both shot in 7f),
GMB(43)=Matri Bow(33.5)+84.55 max in gear=Matri Bow(33.5) + 3x15max+39.55max in gear= Matri Bow(33.5) + 3x15max+ 48 avg dmg per frame (if they both shot in 7f),
so GMB faith can cause around 20% more dmg than Matri faith, even if Matri uses 3 x15max substitute 3x15ias for GMB, Matri still has much less dmg (~10%) than GMB.
it could be deduced that all of other bow faith has around 10% less dmg than GMB, in the case that GMB get to 7f speed. We has to admit that GMB is the best choice for faith if we only take dmg into consideration.
So based on dmg, GMB faith is the best for bowazon? Not really, for solo, it's right; for team, WF will take the first place.
XII, 15ED vs 0ED base for faith, take GMB as example,
base(15ED)= base(0ED) + 43x0.15= base(0ED)+6.45 avg dmg=base(0ED) + 12.9 max in gear = base(0ED) + 109.65 avg dmg in dashboard=base(0ED) + 15.6 avg dpf.
that says 15ED is equivalent to 4pc 3 max sc, and it can cause around 3% more dmg than 0ED.
XIII, 7f GMB vs 8f GMB vs 7f Matri Bow vs 7f Diamond Bow , 120max in gears
7f GMB=(43*8.9+120)/7=71.81
8f GMB=(43*8.9+165)/8=68.46, change 3xias with 3x15max
7f Matri=(33.5*8.9+165)/7=66.16,
7f Diamond=(36.5*8.9+150)/7=67.83
7f ShadowBow=(37*8.9+150)/7=68.47
9f WF=(581+120)*7.6/8.9/9=66.51 (rough calculation, 3x40ED jewels applied)
Can't believe, 8f GMB is still better than 7f Matri, slightly better than 7f Diamond, and same as 7f Shadow Faith! 9f WF is very close behind them.
XIV, 3 skills vs max
3 skills = 15% ED for strafe = 21% ED for Guided Arrow
For faith,
15ED = 15/3.78 max = 3.96 max;
21ED = 5.55 max;
So diamond/shadow bow is still better than matri bow, even for strafe and GA.
XV, DS(Deadly Strike) vs max,
lvl 7 DS, 1DS=(1x0.495+1.5x0.505)/(1x0.5+1.5x0.5)-1=0.2%
15DS=15x0.2%=3%=12.5 max
lvl 23 DS, 1DS=(1x0.295+1.5x0.705)/(1x0.3+1.5x0.7)-1=0.185%
15DS=15x0.185%=2.775%=11.6 max
For highlord, 34DS = 26.29 max = 6.3% more dmg
So I believe highlord is better than cat's eye.
Useful result
For Faith:
- 1max = 8.5 avg dmg;
- 1dex= 2.25 avg dmg;
- 1max=3.78dex=3.78ED;
- 1avg dmg=1/7 avg dpf;
- 3max=3x8.5x1/7~=0.72% more dmg;
- 15 ED = 0.95% more dmg;
- lvl 7 DS, 15DS=12.5max;
lvl 23 DS, 15DS=11.6max;
Other factors:
I. AR isn’t discussed here, cus AR is not a problem for Faith.
II. AMP and CB are not analyzed here.
My stats: Forti, 72 max in inventory, 15-25 dmg from boot, 10 from belt, mid jewels, 500dex; A detailed analyses about gear choosing will be done in this thread.
My clear speed: in 1P, clear chaos in 3 min; clear WSK lvl2-3 and baal in 7 min; Kill diablo in 15 sec (it could be less than 10sec); kill baal in 1 min (it could be less than 40sec); run trav in 40 sec.
