I was really looking forward to playing D2R and getting real invested into the ladder but the UI is absolutely horrible. I’m not sure how basic functions which worked smoothly in the 90’s have been so utterly butchered.
-Bring back channels, the old hardcore channel and class specific channels were great.
-Whisper feature without having to use pulldowns or changing chat groups.
-A game browser which actually functions - info is often missing or old.
-Inconsistent functionality with item links.
-Stop asking if I want to switch to a different character when joining a friends game from the lobby, I already selected my character.
Also, it’s a small one, but hardcore players should be in a fighting stance not standing idly.
Yeah, I really want to know the thoughts behind such an asinine decision. They ported over Classic WoW incredibly well with basically ZERO changes. Exactly how the community wanted it.
Hate to break it to you but they don’t care. Kotick wants this game to die. He wants to milk candy crush, immortal for mtx, and d4 for mtx. Gaming is dying because chumps are running the company. He’d sell his baby if it meant a profit.
