The Gambling event kinda ruined gambling for me

After about 25 billion gold spent and the Gambling events ive caught, Not 1 thing noteworthy or worth a crapz. On Non Gambling days I can spend all 4 stashes of 2,500,000 golds in a matter of minutes
Rings, Amulets, Helms. I got a few Self use Diadems/circlets

Now I really know how RNG/Difficult to get something useful is, I Mean Ill gamble when I do hit the 4 stash fulls, cuz what else ya gonna do with it?
Other than that, Im never gonna chase gold again, I was doing alittle Trav Hork GF’ing before the events but I think Im gonna drop it.

I think Ive gambled 1 useful 6/6 Duel leech ring in a year and a half

Anyone else feel the same?

Grats to you all that gambled Griffons and 20/30 Helms and +2/20% ammys though!

i dont know how many gold spent, what i know , i gamble so many hours ( excluding the horking gold) its really hard to find GG item, i only found 3os FCR & 3os FHR tiara

You can’t gamble 2/20 amulets. And gambling never used to come with lots of nice rewards, but if you gamble that nice ring/ammy/circ it was always a great feeling. Same for crafting.

should focused on rings gambling to get
15% All Resist 25% MF blue ring
or
40% MF ring blue ring
would of improve your mfing farm for the rest of the year

both worth a good chunk

20% fcr amulet are crafted amulet only…can’t get them from gambling
gambling amulet on a lvl 94 characters only provide the ilvl needed to get a chance at +2 skill when you use said amulet in the cube along P-Amethyst,Ral rune + Blue(Magic) Jewel

however 2/20 circlets with other leet mods certainly are neat

Ludicrously difficult for some affix combinations. When you get into items with staffmods or certain weapon affix combinations, you can literally have affix probabilities in the octillions - on top of the rarity of an item of that base item type and quality (e.g. rare) dropping in the first place. https://tools.harrogath.com/affixcalc.html# and https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2-drop-calculator are both great resources.

What always amazes me is that 99% of the drops in the game are useful. Killing Hell difficulty Baal and friends can be accomplished in far less gratifying gear than octillion(s) dream drops.

People just love to min/max because of the replayable nature of the grind and bragging rights. The brutal truth being, within the reality of beating the game or farming Baal consistently, an item worth a Mal will get the job done as satisfactorily as an item worth 100 Ber.

People love their slot machines, especially when the cost to pull the handle is just another elite pack. While I realize farming for the 50 Ber items may keep some playing the game, it’s far outside the scope of what the game demands for adequate repeatable completion. I don’t have any sympathy for item farming after Hell Baal is on solo farm.

Just found a Tal armor and it’s practically worthless  drop rates can’t be that bad if you barely get an Ist rune for tal armor xD

But people feel entitled to have perf gear and ruining their own fun

What is brutal about this?

Darn I missed it. Hope it repeats before end of holiday event.

For those that feel the game is unfair in it’s drop rates of certain items.

Unfairness can be brutal in the eyes of some, it certainly seems to be the case in the eyes of certain forum members.

If it feels like hyperbole, then it obviously doesn’t apply to you. The post was generic in target.
