NHD buffed like 20 skills by 500% damage. I was right as usual, and deserve an apology from those who said NHD changes would have almost no impact.
Shock Web is now confirmed by me to be OP. I can clear /p8 baal minions as fast as a javazon. On /p1 i dont even see the minions spawn they just appear as corpses. Baal is absolutely not as fast as javazon, but you can trap and swoosh aroun da corner and it’s an easy safe kill.
in comparison Shock Web performs better than Wake of Fire after patch.

and you can use it in conjunction with lightning/death sentry. it just wrecks. can probably go test it yourself on single player if all the patch stuff made it to that mode yet.

I confirm Shock Web is still garbage. You can have max 4-5 Webs stacked now which then do 1.5 times the damage of a single Lightning Sentry. Far from “Overpowered”. The NHD changes buffed the Trapsin by maybe ~15% overall damage in ideal scenarios that allow to stack Shock Web like Baalruns.

Sure I did. Even put 20 points into Fire Blast but it turns out that in this case Fireblast is a better damage support for Traps than Shock Web anyway.

However, Shock Web has a fixed speed of 8 frames that is not affected by attack speed or FCR, and has a skill cooldown. It doesn’t look like an OP skill as much as you think. Also, as the minimum damage is 1 person, the average damage is not constant and is low.
It’s can’t be S tier, because that would mean an assassin would have to be something other than Mosaic the class.
