Meanwhile Diablo still does no damage with his lightning in nightmare and hell. Couldn’t fix a 20 year old bug but had to nerf Fury Druids back to how they were? They’re not bad now but come on. It was just more fun.
I do appreciate the Viper Poison fix, though.

Viable? Yes. Seriously though who wants to play their werewolf when you were keeping up with Hammerdins In kill speed and now I’m pretty sure it attacks slower than in LoD. It’s pathetic. Nobody cared about the werewolf animation. It looked badass attacking at supersonic speeds. I stripped my wolf of his gear and he is banished until he can attack like a real Werewolf again.

God forbid there’s a game where one build performs noticeably better then another. Anyone on here who is a veteran knows how OP hammerdins are, so trying to compare a fury druid to a hammerdin is silly.
Your mentality is basically “I had a stronger character because of a bug, and now that it’s gone my character is unplayable, because it will never be that way again” wah wah.
If you can’t enjoy the inherent benefits of that class and what it brings to the Diablo experience without an exploit, then do us all a favour and don’t play the game.

The answer is what Blizzard did. A benevolent power seeking order forces a correct balance of the system.

To be clear though… Bugged ias was ridiculous and shouldn’t be in the game. Melee could maybe use a little nudge, but melee’s role shouldn’t be keeping up with caster/hammerdin dps and reaching ridiculous fpa shouldn’t be possible.
Not everything I post is reduced to the simplest digestable idea, because there is no artistry in that.
It’s pointing out the human tendency to defend anything that benifits them at the detriment of the many. Most often more strongly defended when that person is fully aware of their exploitation.
Like when a bug gives them godly power and you then remove that godly power which gives all classes equal power.
