Nice vid! I just started a Bowzon too. Currently using WF, it feels smoother. Xbow gives me the feeling that your shots are being held back by something haha!
Any idea why Max dmg charms are preferred over Min dmg?

It’s a very good try. Faith is too boring.
The comparison can be done by math as well.
Setup: 1) botd Xbow, 400ED, 80ias in gears, 12F, 120 max in gears; act 2 merc with pride
2) WF, 250ED + ias38ED jewel, 55ias in gears, 9F, 135 max in gears; act 2 merc with pride
Calculation:
#1) BOTD: dmg in weapon: (32-91)*5 = 160 - 455 = 615 max dmg;
dmg in dashboard: (615+120)14.6= 10731;
dmg to undead: (615+120)16.6= 12201;
avg dmg per frame = 10290/2/12 = 447;
avg dpf to undead : 12201/2/12 = 508;
#2)WF: dmg in weapon:783.88 +3.12590= 583.89 ;
dmg in dashboard: (583.89+135)*14= 10064;
avg dmg per frame = 10064/2/9 = 559;
So BoTD Xbow still has 10% less dmg than WF, even to undead.

You can try min/maxing, just using min dmg charms is not too good as they do not go high in numerical value as opossed to max charms. Also, I don’t really see min charms that often.
Max dmg charms synergise with windforce, another thing
Windforce does feel smoother and is a lot faster, but the xbow feels meatier when using, not a bad feeling, like the bolts have weight to them

Chaos run : multishot + strafe, Wf feels a bit faster overall in killing speed, like em both tho.
You could use an upped buriza for comparison. 80ias and 100% pierce for free (no points in pierce needed, no need for razortail), freezes targets, adds cold dmg with a free socket. You can socket a nef inside for knockback to have a perfect strafe weapon.
I think both WF and Buriza are superior to any bow not called faith.

Actually, I have a suspicion that even a WWS is better than a buriza on a top tier build. I did a 3m 33s run with a WWS bow setup in cows (mind you it’s 99% top tier setup as much as you can get it). I wonder if Buriza can do the same, I honestly doubt it.
But yes Buriza > BOTD, but BOTD has more fireworks.
I like the topic about different builds about bowazon. WF is very powerful, which is very close to low dmg/roll faith, just weaker than GMB(Shadow) faith. BoTD has higher dmg (20%?) per hit, but just too slow. Maybe it can be used somewhere.
So BoTD Xbow still is a good runeword, just cus WF is too cheap and strong.
BOTD has got 90ed hidden in stats, the ed is 490 on a perfect one. You get 30 to all attributes. Thanks to hell rune, less str is required which goes towards dex, then less life, more dex and 30dex directly.
I’ll make a maxroll comparison, should be a pretty close call.
WF completly outdamages them. We (onadroig and me) did a high end comparison between WF and Faith in PVM some days ago. They are very close in dmg output. Windforce is an end game weapon.

Way ahead of you 
The biggest problem with BotD CC is 1) its 60% ias falls short of some key IAS breakpoints, which requires using some alternate gear 2) no 100% pierce. BotD had more survivability though.

Set your target to target dummy otherwise more confusion is going to be caused.
They’re both set to cows. How much less confusing can that get since they are neither demon or undead 
Always take the default unless necessary

Yeah, I played HC before with a bowie.
I used to believe this, then I respeced to 550 life and haven’t looked back since 
I might change my mind if I one day start using enigma though.

Honestly I think setting the planner to cows instead of target dummy is better, target dummy had some misleading chance to hit values…
Your WWS comparison uses cat’s eye instead of atma’s. It is really misleading. The whole point of WWS is amplify dmg. Together with atma, you get 7% amp chance, so you cause amp in 14 hit in average instead of 20.
