Hello Blizzard (JK, these forums are functionally a dumpster and you don’t read or post any content here). Since the last two Ladder seasons you’ve offered absolutely nothing, it seems like you’ve run out of terrible ideas to implement instead of fixing bugs or fulfilling your elementary promises (AKA: lies & false advertisements).
Here’s an idea you’ll love! Enable Hybrid Runewords in the Horadric Cube!
Just think of it, by commenting out a single line of code you can pretend you’re working on this product. Imagine the slew of overpowered nonsense you can generate with just this one action! Mosaic of Pattern anyone?!
Here’s another idea, but you won’t like it because it requires commenting out multiple linesGive us a Ladder on LoD Rules!
Just imagine putting a modicum of truth to your proud advertising line that is still somehow on the D2R Landing page: 'Classic gameplay—the same Diablo II you know and love, preserved.' Can you imagine how it will feel to “kind of” not be liars, at least on this one narrow aspect of D2R?!
Here comes an idea you’ll hate! Doing the minimum pre-release work of making chat functional rather than a bug-ridden downgrade in every aspect.
I guess we’ll settle for absolutely nothing instead.
First and foremost, d2r never even launched as a clone of d2 lod 1.14… nevermind the small changes they made, what about wsg or cubing eth armor bug? I personally don’t care but this forum was up in flames over those things among others…
Who do you pay to add this extra layer? It isn’t simple, requires a ton of work and how do they determine what things to keep that is part of the og d2? On top of that keeping it up to date with all the bugs/glitches/exploits…lol what a mess and shows why they are putting no effort into this game post launch…good luck…
Hard to imagine with this company. I guess you’d prefer if I lied and smothered them with glitter and false congratulations on what a great job their doing fixing nothing, adding nothing, and breaking everything both in a gameplay and game design sense, as well as a technical ‘creating bugs and errors’ sense.
Not at all, but I’m not surprised you went from one extreme to the other.
In my experience, being a condescending holier-than-thou jack-a-lantern doesn’t get serious attention/consideration.
I have another idea: microtransations on d2r!!! Create new skins for armor and weapons and sell them to us for 30-50 dollars each!!! U can also sell stash tabs XD
I have a couple of ideas that some would consider terrible. 1) have a treasure goblin or a butcher randomly invade a game and drop useful loot such as crafting material or other goodies. In group games the loot would be dispersed with each person getting their own pile . 2) I would like to see as others have mentioned that the base damage for melee weapons to increase so more non-casters can thrive at end game.
