When teleporting (only tried it with Sorc so far) the character sometimes stops and teleporting ceases. It stops like you’re clicking “out of bounds” but you are not and to get it moving again you have to let go of the mouse button and re-press it.
This may not seem like a big problem, but I’ve died several times because of this, had it been hardcore I would not enjoy the experience…
<UPDATE 21-11-13>
I have, since the creation of this thread, discovered YET ANOTHER teleporting issue. When in D2R mode (Not legacy) the chatwindow, if active, will become a non clickable area for teleportation. So if you were to be teleporting down-left and someone wrote something, causing the message box to become active, the character would stop immediately and you will no longer be able to teleport by clicking that entire area, causing you to teleport a shorter distance until the chatwindows dissapears.

I believe that’s only a problem when holding down the click/button for teleport, right? If you teleport with a click each time, I don’t think this problem ever happens. Is it annoying it happens sometimes when holding down the click/button to teleport? Yes. But there’s already a fix for it, what I just described. Unless I’m wrong?
I noticed that I was using a massive amount of mana while teleporting and realized the pattern my character was teleporting. while holding the mouse button in a single direction with no obstacles, the character will do a single teleport correctly and then will teleport backwards or diagonally a few yards before continuing to teleport in the correct direction. This ends up using twice the mana and essentially makes running a quicker alternative.
Got the same issue, and when i pass the mouse cursor in an object like door and chests it stop teleporting it’s annoying and i checked in old d2 to see if it was that way. But no it only happens on d2r.

It also happens if you hold your cursor in the same place even if you’re click-teleporting.
To Kamikaze: Exactly! It’s really weird and annoying. I’m not sure if it does the same while in legacy-mode in the D2R-client?

Is there a fix for this? It is so annoying that teleport always gets interupted by doors and chests
EDIT: Oh, and Blizzard, while you are busy working on this fix, please implement a fix for my char randomly stop walking while my mouse cursor is over an item sometimes… sigh

Chat window bug is also present, when Enemy (like Ball) “write” something. So deaktivating chat is no option!

I’ve also encountered a teleport bug lately with my paladin using enigma. While using teleport and using the right click on the mouse it seems to be causing it to left click the mouse and makes me run rather than teleport. I will literally double click on the right and I don’t teleport, I run as if I clicked left on my mouse. It’s effecting my efficiency and me being able to survive. I’ve even slowed down my double click on my mouse in my settings and the problem still occurs. I don’t know if this is a glitch or what is going on.
Same issue here. Before the update it didn’t happen at all but now my mage’s teleport is glitching a lot. It is happening every time I hold the mouse button. Every two teleports, one is glitched and you stay at the same position. It is quite annoying because it is now very risky to teleport.

I think some of those are invalid tiles, so technically they are OOB. I don’t think it’s a bug it appears to have been intended that way. IMO it doesn’t make the game more challenging or realistic but more unplayable… With the original if you tried to tele out of a tight spot the game would send you to the nearest valid tile if you clicked on an invalid tile. In the remaster if you click on a valid tile no problem, but if you click on an invalid tile your char will just stand there for a half second and then you get swarmed by monsters, etc. Problem is the valid and invalid tiles are sometimes hard to tell apart and when mid-game you don’t have the time to check anyway before you click. It also affects all attack skills, not only teleport. Another of those new additions to the game that made the game worse, lol
with new autocast feature teleport now works fine.
No it’s actually worse now
Why do you necro a 5 month old post???
seems like they fixed it with autocast on 2.3, but they messed up with 2.4 build, and now we got the same issue again. back to square one.
