Did you graduate highschool?

You want me to break it out into bullet points so you can read it professor?

I see you talking down to people in public because you think you’re smarter than everyone. How many languages do you speak? I can break it down in 4 different languages for you?

Well, I guess that answers the question of whether or not they’re going to treat MHs the way D3 treated THUD (ignored it for a long time). Googled the github open MHs and I see people mentioning in the issues section that they were banned.

yesterday you maphacking cheaters said they’ll never ban maphacks. Today you sit here banned and cry “they’ll never ban botters”.

do you ever get tired of being wrong and banned?

  1. I am not banned.
  2. I do not bot
  3. I play D2r self find. I was always rich in D2 but I had the hours to put it because you are not going to find ANYTHING useful solo, period… EVER…

Maphacking 100% needs to be standard in this game there is NO reason you should not be able to see where you’re going when it takes 60000000000 runs to find one decent item.

There are a lot of good features in some of the MHs from what I’ve read that should be included in the game. Loot filters/alerts and showing certain loot on the map is probably the best example. It’s also a basic accessibility issue since sound is the only indicator of loot drops that aren’t on your screen. They also seem to include enhanced item tooltips to show stat ranges and things like that.

As far as the actual map reveal goes, half the playerbase would probably like it and the other not.

It is true that a very large % of the population used them back in the 1.09 days when there was essentially zero risk of a ban, but it was also pretty risky for people to just go for it in D2R knowing they have much better detection methods than they did back then + there’s a much larger negative general attitude towards them now.

you literally CANNOT play the game solo unless you ALWAYS intend on staying solo. You don’t mf and find the type of gear that would allow you to play in a P8 games. Its a gd joke, Map reveal should be made standard at this point. They dont do anything to stop botters anyways.

I’m so glad they are banning cheaters.

Gear and runes just went up in value. My time mf’ing just got more valuable.

Wow, the MH tells you what loot is on the map? :open_mouth: That must assuage all the “did I miss anything? maybe I should go back and open that chest or box” and avoids having to do that with empty chests/boxes.

From my understanding, the version that was available had:

  • a loot filter
  • special colors for potions/gems
  • text notice of valuable drops like high runes so you don’t miss a drop in the clutter or from offscreen kills
  • monster locations offscreen
  • unique monster modifiers
  • vendor shopping alerts to notify you of any items that you are looking for is on sale at a vendor when you enter town
  • etc…

Some of this should already be incorporated into the the game… It’s not like the developers don’t know what to QOL features people have been asking for the last 2 decades…

Ban the botters blizzard!!!

There have been occasions where I just barely missed a unique amongst the walls of text. The way they scroll on and often off depending on where you are (ie. near a door) also further makes for potential missing valuable loot.

Yada yada yada. Maphacks are against tos. Doesn’t get any simpler. Keep playing with fire eventually you get burned. Hopefully, bots, maphacks, and any other cheats are banned quickly

thats not how it works… lmfao.

you ban MH’s who usually are not botters - just legit players farming with MH usually running 1 acc. they get banned, odds are they wont buy another copy.

bots are not banned - which means the supply is high ergo by banning MH’ers you cut off the demand. so… the market is now super flooded with items from bots and no1 to buy them off. which means… prices drop i.e a ber rune goes for 200fg in SCL - HCL goes for 800fg (that’s 400fg less than 6 hours ago before this banwave) there’s a sh1t ton load of botters farming these items but no1 is buying them.
