Anyone else’s D2R Windows taskbar icon is a generic white box with a green pane on the side? The D2r icon not loading.
Yep thats me. I have some strange bugs associated with it I think… chat bug might have to do with it and sometimes game crashes as I try to close it.
Also, as the game is crashing and windows “reports the problem to microsoft” the icon DOES appear.

My issue which started early February 2025 is still ongoing.
I wonder if trying to install again might fix it… meh I’ve just rolled with it but maybe one of these days I’ll try that 
Also maybe reformatting my comp is something ive been meaning to do that might help.
I tried several times reinstalling. Nothing worked. This is on a fresh Windows 11 install. Just built this PC. Very strange problem.
When D2R is running I have the D2R icon in the task bar and Apps list of Task Manager.
My AMD Adrenalin Drivers area that shows past played games does have 2x D2R fields, one has the icon, one is the generic blue box over window in the background that sounds like what you’re describing.
They have separate hours counts, which I attributed to whether I was running them windowed or not, since I sometimes switch back and forth, but I’ve noticed even the one with the icon the hours count varies, so IDK. Like a few days ago was several hundred hours less than now, so obviously not normal incrementing.
Still on Win 10 FWIW.
