[Switch] Unable to Communicate with Game Servers

After the pushed update today, July 25th, the Switch console gets this exact error message, while playing Diablo II Resurrection -
“ AN ISSUE OCCURRED WHILE COMMUNICATING
WITH THE GAME SERVERS. PLEASE CHECK THAT
YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET AND
TRY AGAIN.”

Using Wi-Fi connectivity
Switch firmware is up to date
Reset the console- no avail
Able to to play other games online
Re-downloaded the game- issue persists

Other Nintendo Switches are about to play D2R after updating to the newest patch, on other Wi-Fi networks.

Any insight would be great.

Same here. I can’t seem to connect after the update. It was fine yesterday.

Same issue on my end while I know some friends can still play. Any guidance would be great.

Same here ! I have two switch 1 working fine after the update (old model) but my other switch(oled) since update doesn’t connect at all to server :expressionless:had no issues before update…

Had this same problem and just fixed it. Is the calendar on your switch correct? I had changed mine years ago for an exploit on pokemon and putting it back fixed everything.

You are the man!! Yes this worked for me. Make sure your date and time is set to automatic from the internet.

Same as above, when i fixed my date and time on the switch and restarted the system, it was able to connect to battle.net again.
