I just got the notice for the update and after the update I get cannot connect to server errors and authentication errors. The embarrassment of Blizzard employees at the quality of this rerelease should be enough to start a midlife crisis.

Try to turn off the wifi and launch the game, currently Switch user can only play the offline mode until the next patch being released. It won’t take that long, maybe the end of this week.
Ummm not being able to play online is not a proper solution lol. They can’t say oh hey switch guys sorry you can’t play online anymore but thanks for the money. My switch was fine all week and now I suddenly got some patch that completely broke all online connectivity. This is unacceptable.

Yup, totally agree with you I’m not starting over again in offline.
How could they not be making a statement on this? This isn’t the occasional disconnect or failed login attempt this is every attempt continuously fails. How did QA sign off on this? Are they seriously not testing their updates on a Switch? This would’ve immediately been apparent
