Ever since the update no matter whether you’re playing on the switch or the switch 2 you cannot create a new character whatsoever including the new character. It’s completely locked out the button does nothing but move your selection up it doesn’t matter if you put on the joy cons on the switch or if you’re using the pro one or two controller I’ve tried it numerous ways.
