I think cta bows are just for flexing, not actually best, or for 0 str bowazons.
Most I expect would always go into a +3zon bow since a1 merc now benefit from bowa skills and can use those bows.
Yeah, pretty much everyone wants the grand matrons now. 5 sockets are also not all that desireable. You could try using the socket quest on it and maybe go for 4 but, if it doesn’t come up 4 it would be worth about 3 pounds of rancid donkey meat.
I cannot cube it because it is Superior and it will always get 5 sockets from Larzuk.
Well, then you have your choice of 3 pounds of rancid donkey meat or whatever charsey is offering for it.
Why? Cta is actualy quite good weapon.
I’m not expert on bowazon, but I have one and played it a bit.
Putting cta in a bow means you lose +2 skills (I.e 2 levels less to the BO) from not having a spirit shield in the offhand. And generally, you’re not killing with your cta, though you could! I think you’d rather use some buriza, wind force, faith, etc.
I was making a few assumptions in my response and speaking from an ideal setup.
OP asked if it would be useful or sought after. The best answer is that it would be more useful and sought after in a better bow base (matri) or in a crystal sword. In my view, it’s a waste of an ohm rune if not in a good base and would be most valuable in a crystal sword.
And if you don’t have a good bow yet, use that ohm rune to trade for one!
