Superior Normal Items with MF

New rune words are nice but they lack Magic Find. Right now we all use the same MF gear. We sacrifice a lot to get it. Overall it reduces the speed of how we move through the game.

What if we could get Superior Normal items to roll with a small amount of Magic Find? Let’s say 15-20% MF. This amount is not revolutionary but it increases the chances. Then we could make our rune words in those items and have a little MF bonus.

What’s the deal with speed just play the game no point in going as fast as possible

Thats a good point… MF is always overlooked in new items. Other classes really do need better options in the MF department to truly be brought up to Sorc level.

There is a point to going fast. Someone who plays fast finds more stuff in the same amount of time as someone who plays slow.

Taking your time questing through the game is fine because that’s the nature of some builds but doing slow runs for exp and items after you beat the game is noobish.

When I say speed… I mean we go from a decent pace to a crawl with MF gear. As a HC player I would appreciate being able to obtain 100MF, while still running a build with decent gear to survive.

I am not suggesting we should be able to run around with 400 MF like its easy. It is supposed to be difficult. However, we have not gotten any new MF gear out of all these changes. So I feel like an overall good balance is to implement superior items with MF and give any normal rune word a chance to be a small MF item.

This sounds obnoxious for anyone trying to get % enhanced damage and % enhanced defense superior affixes, since it would dilute the superior affix pool.

There are so many MF options in the game already. Also gloves, rings, belts, boots, and amulets can’t ever become runewords and all have options for MF.

Honestly better to just ax MF as a stat. So many current build rankings revolve around who can use MF pieces and still farm.

The Meta is based around runewords. Correct me if I’m wrong but i didn’t think runes were affected by mf correct?

I’d like to have the opposite effect: in addition to increasing the chance to get magic (rare, set, unique) items, MF also increased the chance to get superior items instead of normal (and normal instead of cracked/crude/damaged/low quality).
