Is it me, or the Summoner doesn’t drop Key of Hate anymore. It’s been 3 days I kill him over and over for countless hours and he hasn’t dropped a single Key. Meanwhile it took me 30 min of Nilathak and countess runs to get 3 keys of each… I’m starting to wonder if it is a bug or if I have the worst RNG ever

It’s just RNG being RNG.
You’ll have long stretches of no drops. You’ll have sporadic times where he’ll drop one every time over the course of 5 runs. You’ll also have sporadic times where he’ll drop multiple keys.

I guess you are right, still no keys in over 200 runs hurts… Btw, seconds after writing this topic, I got 2 keys in a row.

rng i guess, found 2 in 70 runs
He probably is the worst for it. Not to mention hes located the 4th way 9/10 times to make him even more of a d1ck to farm

Yeah, but those chests at the ends are worth the trouble. Plus the hordes of ghosts are worth giving a whoopin for the enhanced chances of dropping a decent rune… Well as long as you are patient enough to corral them over a path so they don’t drop their loot into the infinite abyss. 
I play a Nova Sorc, these ghosts are easy to keep on the ground, but I still haven’t got any decent rune drop from these.
I have a novasorc as well. I’ve seen one decent rune so far (Vex) from ghosts. I’ve actually gotten more out of the chests. (Gul, Vex, Ist and several other lower runes) I’ve seen a lot of runes from the ghosts, but other than the Vex, they are usually Orts, Thuls, etc.
RNG being RNG. Both a blessing and a curse.

After my 200 dry runs, I got 3 keys in less than 20 runs. I got a 18/20 assassin torch for the trouble.
well that’s a decent end to the grind. AGAIN !

Maybe all that was needed was to let off a little steam about your lackluster key farming experience by sharing it with others.
