Thank you for your remarks.
Frankly I also think it’s probably not happening, but we have a great necro community and I wanted to at least highlight the problems so maybe sometime in the future this post can be used somehow. Back in 2001 we also would not predict that there will be a D2R in 2023 so I personally prefer to keep my hopes up and remain positive.
Deadly strike does sound solid. Yes I think this can work.
Yes CB on skeleton warrirors should not be super high, but it should be visible. Considering CB gets reduced effect on higher player count (especially P8) this would be a fair buff anyway.
I personally feel like the sweet spot can be around 20-25 revives. If they become permanent, we can see Summon Necromancers diversifying their army and customize it even further. This would create a whole new point of discussion in the Necromancer community; ie. “What is the most optimal army formation?” Would love to see it.
I am more and more convinced the Fire Golem should be a Dragon Paladin but it can benefit from enemy negative fire resistance gear. They fixed Assassin traps and traps can now gain benefit from enemy -resistance gear. If we make fire golem benefit from enemy -fire resistance gear, we can see a fire focused necromancer with flame rift + fire skeletal archers + fire golem + lower resist + flickering flame runeword and maybe even phoenix runeword (if you are fast enough you can still corpse explode before redemption consumes a corpse). Liked your idea too.
I like the idea that it should never miss. The main problem is the poison damage itself. Right now, poison damage is interrupted if any other source of damage is applied. This is the main reason why poison nova necro cannot kill bosses efficiently because the army intervenes and flat out cancels the poison nova damage even with physical damage. IF they fix how poison damage works then most of the problems will be automatically fixed.
