Stygian pike good for infinity now?

2.4 had allowed to use spears to make infinity, so is it good to choose stygian pike? it’s same attack speed and samiliay damage as great poleaxe. Stygain pike is more common and easy to got 4 soc. The price for stygain pike is much cheaper than great polexe.

Yeah you can its not bad but I hear ghost spear is better no idea why though.

Some of the spears have high dex and str requirement. Make sure you consider that when crafting.

Yeah good point. What’s the fastest spear that’s up there in DPS? Do you know off hand?

Looks like a tie between Stygian Pike and Ghost Spear for the best DPS and tied for 3rd on attacks per second.

Stygian Pike suffers a bit on range(4) versus the Ghost Spear(6), which can result in more movement to get within striking range when attacking multiple enemies. But the Ghost Spear has a much higher dexterity requirement (163 vs 97).

If all you’re worried about is attacks per second (work that crushing blow), then go for a Mancatcher.

WHy even bring up Great Poleaxe, it was never a good option. Threshers are still dominant. Cryptic Axe also works.

Mancatcher is the best now. There is no debate since D2 mod communities like POD and PD2 have enabled spears for years now.

Speed of mancatcher makes it most efficient.
