Back in the day every Strafe bowazon had to max Penetrate. Is this still the case?
This hasn’t really changed since D2R. The devs supposedly added an AR bonus to Strafe but I don’t think it’s working.
I read that Strafe now has AR bonus and that its damage penalty is removed. I would prefer to have only one point in Penetrate and max Strafe synergies instead. For PI I plan to use Harmony on switch.
The AR bonus on strafe was added in 2.4 but doesn’t actually work. It displays in the character screen but doesn’t have any higher % chance of hitting than normal attack. I hope they fix it.
Wisdom and Razortail have 33% each, Buriza has 100%, so there are ways to run with 1 in Penetrate.
You’re talking about pierce, not penetrate.
It seem then that 20 points in Penetrate is a must then. It used to be the case in D2:LoD.
I’d rather respec and use the points elsewhere because 20 in pen seems excessive, but I do love me some strafe.
