Stop seeing balance in term of class, see it rather in term of skills

If you consider Paladin a strong class and blizzard wants to Buff FOh by removing the “only damage undead” to holy bolts… don’t cry that it adds another build to the already strong Paladin

No, instead be happy that you get a new build to play

Diversity is about Skill, class is just a semi-meaningless regrouping of skills

I welcome every new builds, from bad to good classes
I’ve never been a fan of seeing balance in terms of classes, I prefer to see it in term of skills… and even if necro has other good skills, skeleton mage sucks

If a school gives launches to hungry children and there’s one of the students that comes from a wealthy neighborhood but is still famined, will you deny him food because of his neighborhood

Just don’t break PvP and it’s all good. On that note, why is bone spear/spirit getting such a buff lol, they were fine enough in PvE (necro does still have curse + corps explosion after all) but incredible in PvP already and now they’re buffing them it’s pretty weird

That’s an odd way of saying blizzard is terrible at balancing the game.

Look at class balance in WoW Vanilla versus now. It’s loads better. All classes and builds feel good and are enjoyable, yet play completely differently.

Why have a class and offer skills that are utterly fricken useless? Like why even put the skill in the game?

Other iterations of this game have successfully made the sorceress feel on par with the clear speed of a bowazon (without enigma or teleport) and both feel amazing, as an example. Not to mention almost every skill choice can feel good to play somehow.

What’s so hard about making all classes feel amazing? There really shouldn’t be anything. 20+ years and an entire team can’t figure out what teams of 1-5 people working for free can figure out in a matter of months? Lol

At this point they need to admit defeat and allow mods access to hardcoding the game just how they allowed for it on old LoD.

Hope you are joking. Last time I checked every class felt the same and had nothing special to them. All had shields and selfheal and shards/combo points.

Yes a mage who throws fireballs feels exactly like a hunter who shoots a bow feels exactly like a warrior who uses close combat and a sword. Go to bed, I’m not here to argue with idiots

You reached a new level of ignorance.

But I already knew that you will throw insults because you have no arguments. Nothing else to expect from someone who thinks that wow is better balanced in it’s casual dumbed down version.

If you don’t understand that back in vanilla wow you literally could play like 30% of classes and specs and be viable versus now you can play 100% of them
Idk what to tell you.

If there’s a skill on a tree, it should be useful. There should also be more than 1-2 builds endgame Diablo that are equally as competitive, but play different. It’s not difficult for a team of developers to figure out and implement. It’s been done before.

I’m not here to argue dumb things, again.

My complaint there would be that it waters down the identity of the skill, not that it overpowers the paladin.

I don’t think “it sucks” is a good identity trait

Without hammers paladin is pretty terrible. Also playing the same builds for 20 years is really boring. Giving even overpowered classes more builds is great.

Totally agree with both of these statements

And I disagree that Paladin is an overpowered class

Vengeance is bad
Sacrifice is bad
Conversion is bad
Holy auras are bad selfcast
Sanctuary is bad selfcast
Holy bolt and foh are now better but useless against animals
Smite is bad as an overall skill
Charge is meh

I wouldn’t call Paladin Overpowered because it has the opest build
