Stop asking for Refund - Do this instead

Don’t buy and support Diablo 4 going forward.

Seriously, a prime example of how a company should deal with game launch failure is CD Projekt. They were issuing out refunds within a month or so since release “WHILE” acknowledging and apologizing for their mistakes. Sometimes it’s not all about making money, but the sincerity. For one, I actually ended up keeping Cyberpunk because I felt like they cared and I appreciate that.

Edit: Oh and the stuff they did with Warcraft, glad I didn’t have a part in that.

Even with Cyberpunk serving as a huge wake-up call to developers around the world, and along back in the day when D3 launch was also a disaster, Blizz just doesn’t learn and quite bluntly being ignorant and does not care for its customers. That’s cool.

They don’t want to issue refunds that’s fine let them keep that $50 and lose the potential profit they would get from players’ long-term support, treat it like a lesson learned with that 50 bucks, but I will 100% not BUY D4.

Like this post if you are on the same boat with me, cheers.

I already know a bunch of people flocking to private servers for WoW for vanilla instead of SoM because of blizzard’s desire to run their company like a broadband monopoly or a hated local energy company.

Same.

I won’t be buying D4 after this debacle. Or resubbing to WoW.

Done with this company, I think. I bet there were 25x the people logging in for the original LoD launch and it went 500x smoother. There is literally no excuse for this mess of a launch except them cheaping out.

They won’t be getting my money in the future.

This wont teach them anything.
What you do is try to get a refund when they refuse demand it in writing and contact you bank and do a chargeback because you aren’t getting the experience advertised by the developers. Then when the bank takes that money blizzard cant come after you for product you already own. so they cant disable your account because you made a valid case with your bank that the game isnt as advertised so you shouldnt have to pay for a 1/2 completed game. This is how we hold developers responsible

I asked for a refund anyways.
I also WILL NOT be pre-ordering D4, Not a chance in hell will I even consider it no matter how many carrots they dangle infront of us.

I will wait and see how it goes then purchase IF it is not a sh_tshow like this is.

boycotting them has collateral damage in the long run, but that bank advice is awesome too.

Will try that lol

I don’t that this is a boycott, it’s learning from your experience with them and not giving them your business anymore.

If I bought a bad hamburger from a diner, I’m not boycotting it, I’m just not going back. I’m not going to be holding signs up or protesting or anything remotely like that. Just not going back, which is what I will be doing with Blizzard.

Honestly, I wish I could believe you, but in the end – by 2023 or 24 – you will buy D4. People have short memory spans, and with game development taking years (slow pipeline of new games), this incident here will not stop them from trying and playing a new game.

I will say this – this has been one of the WORSE launch experiences I have ever been through, with relatively no customer communication, or purposeful patches.

The fact most of us had planned to play this game after a long work week, to only have to sit in que for 2-4 hours w/ possible bug crashes or disconnects to re-wait in a que… its sad.

Lastly, I know you say not to request a refund, but honestly – we all should. If we suck all of their money away, it would cripple the Blizzard pipeline - especially on development of D4. However, we would need to all get together to do this – and commit to it. Call it gamers taking an active stand against greed.

This is actually a very smart move. If we get enough people to dispute this charge with their back or CC, we could effectively make the institutions unwilling to provide their services to Blizzard in the future (think of Only Fans, but without the pornography).

oh no, believe me, this server crap causing thousands of people’s extreme frustration will leave a mark.

I even remember how D3 launch went and honestly I was debating whether or not t get D2R because of that but I got it because of the original memories otherwise I wouldn’t have, but for D4… yeah I’m not stupid enough to fall it again for the third time.

d3 wasn’t as fun any way, basically like an illegitimate child between WOW + D2LOD.

d4 is just to be suckered into ridiculous online gameplay rubbish again. nty.

It’s because they are literal Satanists. Blizzard is a giant money/energy vampire. A giant Collin Robinson, if you will. They watch us all rage as they troll us for hours, days, months, years…slowly sucking our energy/life source. They are running out of victims though and appear decrepit.

i 100% will never buy a game or pay for another subscription from Blizzard - i got spoiled by SquareEnix being a company that actually listens to its player base and takes a proactive stance on short comings like this.
