Stone of Jordan in Single Player

Just wondering, since in all my years of playing, I’ve never fought DClone, is the best place to farm for a Stone of Jordan Nightmare Andy?

Now, I’ve never delved too deeply into the game so I don’t know what mob has what chance to drop specific items and please don’t hold that against me.

But really, where is the most likely place to find a Stone of Jordan?

Nightmare Andariel is correct. Here is a drop calculator for future reference that’s pretty handy.

You can google silospen d2 calculator for the tool everyone uses.

1 -2 hours of nm andy gets it usually or less. which is why I was sh*tting in trade chat when people were trying to scalp my first born for one

I think you mean 100-200

As others said, nm Andy but i would do hell any anyway just because she can drop other items too.

I’m still hunting but I’ve found a couple of things to help in the search. I got an Ali Baba from her (well actually two, one eth and one regular) and a Skulder’s. So I loaded up on magic and have temporarily switched to a FoHadin. Tarnhelm, Chance Guards, Gold Wrap, Cow King boots, something like 380% Magic Find all told. I’ve got an Ist and am tempted to throw it in the Ali Baba but I’m kinda saving it for a Silence.

The FoH is only something thrown together with only level 25 FoH but it’s cool to clear a room in a /players8 game with just a couple of casts on Nightmare. On a whim, I took the build into Hell Countess, but didn’t lower the /player count and it was slower there than my zealadin.

So when I find a SoJ, I’ll probably switch back to that to fight DClone.

The highs and lows of the search are kinda fun but I’ve found like 4 Menald Heals and a Nagelring, the nagelring was particularly disappointing, lol.
