Oh this issue was present back before d2r aswell.

clearly they knew this problem would occur and couldnt figure out a solution, hence ladder being delayed. 20yr old game and same playstyle, yet a team cant infuse new engine and servers to adapt. no shame in a think tank for solutions. . . .

I was locked out yesterday. I tried again this morning and it didn’t work, went and played a mission on darkest dungeon then tried again and it worked. Three hours later I got locked out again. Its been 5 hours so far on the 2nd lockout. I really just want to play…

I was stuck yesterday all day. Tried to log in this morning and worked played for 3 hours and now i am locked again since an hour. Hoped they had fixed it clearly they have not

Was locked for 16 hours, go unlocked - 1 hour later, locked again. Waiting on 23. hour now.

Come on… This issue is a no brainer, easy to fix. There is so many solutions that could fix it.
It’s a coding error, not a server stability problem. Blizzard is just ***** us over at this point.
The error was reported in beta, yet nothing has changed. It’s a major critical error, and they just ignored it and launched anyways? This is too much, my patience is gone.
And as a person with a programming background this is mindblowing me.
What if automatic unlock doesn’t work because of database corruption? Force unlock which simply delete every bad data, such as clearing out all items in stash?
Blizzard had no excuse, but fix is not as simple as what you said.
