Haven’t been able to play the game for even a second since launch…
After I’ve started the game and selected picture brightness, I come to a diablo 2 logo screen with the writings below: “press X to play”
After pressing X the message: “cannot connect to server”
Day 3 now with the same message…
Can’t play offline or online, all I can do is watch the Marius intro…
Anyone else with this problem?
Have worked for me since day one, altough with hiccups on day one 
what region are you in? Have you opened the playstation recomended ports in your router? That may help.
Same here, I haven’t been able to get past the opening cinematic since the game launched. I even made sure all ports were forwarded/open, I uninstalled, and reinstalled but I still can’t connect to servers. Diablo 3 opened with no issues, so it’s also not a problem with my account.
My connection is wired but I also tried starting the game on a wireless connection with no luck either. Then, I thought I would try installing it on my PS4 which didn’t work either.
I’m in Norway, so EU region…
Everything else works perfectly fine online and offline, I’ve asked for a refund now!
Day 5 and still can’t login to play…
I had same problem . I tried most of the day trying to play and chatting with playstation person with methods to try. They all failed.so.i ask for and received a refund. I will prolly game later as i imagine it will drop in price and get fixed.
Another thread had the same problem, it turned out he was trying to play the beta. Are you sure you are trying to start the real game and not the beta?
Look at the bottom right on the press x to play screen.
I’m having the same problem I deleted the beta so as to make sure . Also I’m not opening any ports on my internet, shouldn’t have too.
What does it say in the bottom right corner on the “press to play” screen?
I finally fixed mine. After weeks of not being able to connect to server, I finally got the game to start. I started a new Battlenet account and from there linked my PSN ID. After that I started the game and for the first time I was able to play.
Same thing is happening to me then I get it to work had 2 online characters last night now there gone and won’t let me reconnect to the server
Ok guys after months of trying I gave up also I deleted the beta version. I ha so Diablo 2 account for a long time on PC version like years ago. Seems blizzard deactivates them when accounts are unused. So what you need to do is redo all your sign in process and link your console to your battle net old Acct an so you should be ready to go.
I have a problem on the PS5 as well, I can’t even connect to the servers? and this problem was since launch why hasnt this been resolved yet?? I live in Australia as well.
