Stealth runeword not working

I’ve just tried to use Stealth on two separate pieces of armor and neither of them worked.

Playing Resurrected single player (normal). Both times runes were entered correctly.

Item just became “Mechanic’s Plate Mail of Strength”

Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Please advise.

PS tried to include link with a picture but forum wouldn’t allow it

This is your problem right here. The item you use the runes in must have a GREY label. It cannot be blue, or any other color. The items you used are blue (magic) so they don’t work with rune words.

Okay:

“Mechanic’s” is a prefix that you find on Magic (blue) items. Rune Words DO NOT work on Magic Items. And your Rune Word did not turn into a Magic item after inserting the Runes. It was already a Magic item.


At your Trust Level you have to post links as preformatted text.

How to Post Links

  1. Select the link you just pasted and click the ˂/˃ button on the Reply Editor toolbar. (See image below).
