Stats for pindle

Just curious…

I ran 100 pindle past two days and highest run i got was Fal… Best equipment… nothing notable… maybe something that can be exchanged for a Lem…

I timed myself and i did 7 runs in 10 mins… I’m a summonmancer… I wonder what’s the stats like for a mage… I jsut started so my MF is just 300%

since the server is down, let’s compare notes…

  1. How many runs can u fit into a 10 mins slot
  2. On average what’s your loot drop in 100 runs

i mean, for sorc its walk to the portal, 2 teleports, 2 blizzards and exit
i have not found anything worthwhile in the bit of pindle ive done but i know ive heard his loot table is good

I have no choice but to do skenk for my little army…

same here nothing notable at all, at least 400-500 runs invested into it.

you can get your nec army from the corpses infront of pindle…

My MF sorc has about 430%. Pindle just dropped a unique jewel on my last run - I’m expecting I’ll never see it again. But, that was the best drop I’ve seen from him since launch.

Seriously, there are a few videos showing the results of 1000+ runs with Pindle, and I was surprised at how paltry those results were. But, I’ve also noticed that the more MF I can squeeze into my sorc, the better the overall drops were.

If you’re broke or trying to raise money to gamble, Pindle is probably the fastest way to print gold. You can usually generate ~100K every run, and that’s 2 ammies right there.

100 runs is not a good enough sample size. Try 10000. Also pindle isn’t worthwhile if you are looking for runes

Why do people have such ungodly high MF with the diminishing returns?

The fastest runs are:

Chuck spears from portal.
Listen for pindle to die.

Profit!

Soon as we can change the sound files of dings so we know which color drops without needing a visual then pindle runs will get faster. Until then you move at the speed of how fast you can go pick up loot.

i got a 39% gheeds from him and back in the day old d2 windforce has droped shako 2

Pindle is one of the best to run. Do it every day often, youll get the best items the game has to offer, He’s max level so you have a wide variety of items you can get, including whites. My best items have come from pindle runs, Windforce,Griffins eye, nightwings,Fathom.

Also always grab his GC’s and re roll them till you get skiller.

50k pindle runs:

Recently someone posted his pindle run and I was amazed by his runes drop…I think I saw a few middish ones…saw a war traveller’s…

Hmmm I’ll try to raise my army’s in front of pindle and see if that helpz

In the long run, it’s hard to argue with this math. But, I can definitely tell the difference between MF250 and MF350. So, I think I believe people when they tell me “more MF is better.”

This is true for me, as when I get my sorc up to 450%, I’m still not running Pindle, LK, Tunnels, Summoner, Andy, Countess, and Cows much slower than with my max damage equipment. But, I’m running Blizzard and that’s not exactly the fastest way to generate kills.

All I’m trying to say (poorly) is that if your primary attack is slow anyways, then max MF to the gills - it will help over time. But, if your main attack kills very fast (Lightening?) then go for kill speed.

Does that make any sense? I should never post in the B.C. (before coffee) times.

I believe it helps. But it boils down to survivability… one mistake and you’re dead and u spend like 10-30 minutes recovering…so it’s the balance you need to find.

you need a coffee maker next to the bed like me

what level is best to gamble on?

300% isn’t ungodly high, in fact it’s just about the sweet spot between damage and mf.

the higher the better. 90 is a good spot for gamble. it reaches several levels above your own for the gambled items so. 90 IMO

I have had a shako and a Tals Armor drop from him, I have spent days where I just farm him for 8 hours straight while I am working from home.
