Sorceress strange bug?

I think I have a bug on my Sorceress. She is called “Leilli”, and is on this account. I have not noticed this bug on other characters on the same account. I play on Europe Server btw.

I use Z and X for Previous/Next spell/buff/teleport, but the strange thing is that it takes several presses (5 I think) on Z or X keys to make that spell active. This makes it difficult to buff or teleport for example. Could you please fix it so I can start teleporting “like a pro”?
All my spells are on F1…F5 btw.

I may be misunderstanding your issue.

You have Skills on F1, F2, F3, F4 and F5.

You have Previous Skill on Z.

You have Next Skill on X.

Each time you press X it should switch Skills: F1 → F2 → F3 → F4 → F5.

Each time you press Z it should switch Skills: F5 → F4 → F3 → F2 → F1.

(Of course, the exact order would depend on which Skill was currently active – The starting point).

If you want to jump directly to a specific Skill, you would press the associated F key.


If this is what you’re experiencing, then it is not a bug.

The only thing you misunderstand is that I have to press Z or X multiple times before the skills even start to move. Other than that you are 100% correct.
So I have to press X or Z four-five times before I get to the next skill.
I know I can press the F keys to go directly to the skills, but I find that to be to slow.

I have Hydra on F1, Frozen Armor on F2, Enchant on F3, Teleport on F4. (Sorry, I was mistaken about F5.) I always have Hydra ready, F1 is my starting point.

edit: I have to press Z or X exactly five times before I get to the next or previous skill.

English isn’t my real language, so please ask again if this was unclear.

I don’t know what to tell you.

Make sure it’s not your keyboard.

  1. Temporarily assign Previous Skill and Next Skill to different keys. Do you still have the same issue?

  1. Are you using a wireless keyboard? If so, are the batteries getting low?

  1. Have you tried rebinding Previous Skill and Next Skill to the defaults: Mouse Wheel Up and Mouse Wheel Down?

This will at least tell you if it’s a hardware problem or not.

Lets hope Blizzard can fix it, and yup, the Z and X keys work good on other characters on the same account, so I doubt it is a hardware problem. My keyboard is cabled.
