with wands like eshutas with +3 skills 40% FCR and up to 20% fire skill damage it might be a hard sell
is the 20% worth more than the 2 skills you put in? Know what the numbers would be more or less?
I think it might be a great wand for those who don’t have eschuta’s , especially a perfect roll of +20 to fire damage.
yeah, I have a blizzard sorc and if Im farming in p5-8 Ill throw deaths fathom on, instead of my isted occy and it brings my damage from 3600 ish to around 5k

Bro, cold and fire are very different, eschuta’s just adds the 20% to Firemastery, which is already like 200%+, so the gain is very very minimal. Its the same for lightning (even worse as light mastery goes to like 500%+ easily). Hoto is a far better weapon than eschuta’s for fire or light sorcs.
Cold on the other hand has -res mastery and a % damage bonus to cold is a huge thing, like what you have from DF. Similarly a phoenix on a firesorc does a ton of additional damage due to the -28% enemy fire res. Or a Griffon on a lightsorc with -25% light res.
Please don’t confuse those and end up gimping yourself by wearing eschuta’s on a light or fire sorc… lol.
