Is Rakanishu named after a word the fallen use or do they say his name?
Can’t speak for others who are having game issues, but I’m having an awesome time reliving the old D2 world in HD. I was super hesitant on buying it but am very glad I did.

I always imagined that it’s the NPC’s name and his followers like to say it. Same thing with Colenzo, from Baal’s throne room. Sometimes Fallen also yell out “Colenzo!”. The story behind Rakanishu though, is that it resulted from someone on the original dev team trying to spell out what their colleague’s sneeze sounded like.
As I understand it, the name came because while they were working on the game one of the leads had this loud sneeze that sounded like “Rakanishu” and they had a good laugh and put it in the game.

They are saying RAKANISHU. I don’t know the lore, but he does protect the stones leading to cain. I take it he is prolly the head honcho.
