Specifically the Zealot in Act 3, Why would they make the AI in a way that the monster runs away from you, such an annoying enemy to fight, i just ignore them. Even when i’m at a low level they run away.
Also did they specifically make the bone fetish the most deadly enemy in the game because people kept grinding Mephisto?
Also which Paladin Auras does the most damage?
Edit: i means the most damage through the passive Aura not the attack damage increase.

Holy fire: Attack 1400-1900 Fire damage 234-633
Holy Shock: Attack 4-3931 Light damage 4-1310
Holy Freeze: Attack 999-1026 Cold Damage 199-410

2-…too hard this time ?(>_>)…D2 is mostly a meet needed stats to win over skills involved
3- Melee(Fana),B-Hammer SKill(Concentration), group support(Conviction)…Conviction drop enemies def to 0(ensuring melee hit rate is 95% alway) and make elemental casters does 3X more dmg…its also FoHer favorite aura(although awful skill(FoH) for pve even after the buff it received)
if you play fresh ladder you do either of these builds(
lvl 1-30 Fireball Sorc
lvl 30 speak to Akara to convert to a new build(choice depend if your solo or got a partner)
Choice 1 lvl 30-99 Blizzard Sorc(solo option)
Choice 2 lvl 30-78 Blaze Sorc(if you got a Conviction pally partner)…it will melt baal wave faster than a Blizzard build with the support of a Conviction pally(as long your not idling ever and keep piling up those fire stacks all over the floor by non-stop running)
lvl 78-(94-99) Blizzard Sorc(optimal choice for fresh ladder farming)
alternatively you can play Paladin and be the group support(still gonna need your own sorc afterward but eh…being that 1 guy supporting group making reaching hell much much faster
lvl 1-30 Holy Fire build
lvl 30-94 Hammer build with CONVICTION AURA…make sure to have 1 point wonder in Concentration if there another paladin in the group also running Conviction…that way you can power up your hammers while they power up the ele casters dmg
if you have the highter lvl conviction they should swap to conc aura however(IF they’re hammer build too with Conv)…discuss it with them(unless you or they are anti-social)
lvl 94+ respect again as a true hammer build(Concentration Aura over Conviction(ZERO point in conviction at this point))
Option 3: Barbarian(BO will make teleporting accross Great Marsh in hell easier for a sorc in the group with the huge health boost that a barb provide)…it also improve quality of baal run if the sorc can teleport without dying due to BO(gotta be a fast loader otherwise your not gonna be in time to bo the sorc)…however…Barb are a full dead weight in Hell early ladder outside the bo effect
Barb have no specific builds other than being pure support fresh ladder…but i would recommend getting lvl 6 warcry to support baal runs(stun spam wave 3 guys so they dont spawn hydra)…while you be a dead weight as a dps…at least you can speed up baal run that way…dont lvl war cry pass lvl 6 otherwise its gonna be too costy mana wise
other benefit Barb provide…easier duriel in norm due to shout spitting in duriel face(allies dont get hit as much)
Barb can become a Trav horker once they been fed gear
useless class for HELL difficulty on fresh ladder
Assa,Necro,Druid,Amazon
Necro have some alright support skills like Lower Resists and a Skeleton Army to tank dmg in norm and nm…but for Hell they drop dead…corpse explosion does alright dmg but it dont has enough range to reach further groups to chain it hard…so you gotta generate 1 corpse often
Amazon is a boss wrecker with Charged Strike but is awful for gear farming untill geared up with super expensive items
Assassin and Druid are just dead both as farmers and as support

For Zealots, looking into it, it seems that, putting aside them running when low on HP like some other monsters do, it is specifically coded that they will run away from you if you have completed the quest “The Blackened Temple” (the one that asks you to kill the council members).
I guess you could see that as a little easter egg, although I agree it’s impractical to have to get them stuck in a corner to kill them.
It’s simply based on monster HP, which scales faster than player HP, hence the excessive damage in hell. That being said, they also give a good amount of XP, and don’t hit very hard with their regular attacks, so you can usually choose between ignoring them and taking the risk of killing them for XP (or accidentally kill them and yourself at the same time).
If you are speaking literally, I think, when properly synergized, Holy Fire deals the more damage, though without synergies Holy Shock does more damage. That being said, if you are looking for the most efficient skill for your build, it depends :
Holy Fire is its own build.
Fanaticism is commonly used for melee builds.
Conviction can be efficient for Vengeance builds, though I don’t know how it fares when compared to Fanaticism.
I guess Concentration is the most offensive for Blessed Hammer builds, since it’s the only aura that somehow helps its output.
Usually zealots do chase after you until you defeat defeat council…
Compared to vanilla d2, pre lod, dolls have gottn harder over the many patches… there’s no particular reason why their explosion deals so much damage, I assume trade off for being easy to kill. Just let your a2/a5 merc handle them, otherwise most other classes either have ranged options or some minions to be a meat shield.
Not sure what you mean by most damage…flat out damage from aura then holy shock no doubt but damage bonus to attack would either be fanact/concen depending on your attack…

I disagree, i think small forms of close nit Christian Bible groups is is good, even if Worldly Christian organizations fail to be good (which the bible says is impossible) and don’t follow the Bible. I know that organized Religion is part of the Satanic world and is controlled (the Bible also talks about Devil worshippers in the Church) but God is more powerful than any conspiratorial group in the world. and the Gates of hell will not prevail against the Church.
