Please introduce a solo self found mode/ladder to play in seasons online where people can /players 1-8. I personally don’t care for the ladder although, many others would, and you might say “just play single player”.
I did, and my power flickered, and I lost my main character, all his items and everything he had saved in his personal stash (HR’s). This is a known bug for many years which they never fixed and never will. So introducing this mode will benefit multiple things.
first of all, ignore the anti ssf crew we dont know what kind of condition makes them have such spasms every time they read those three letters
if they add a ssf mode, and they probably will, having /px or not isnt really relevant, what really matters is that everybody will be bound by the same rules, be it botters, no lifers, veterans or casuals
it is always advisable to keep copies of your chars/shared stash
i was able to retrieve many items from bricked saves using atma/gomule
but i agree with you, having the official cloud saving for our sht is so much better
That doesn’t make any sense. The d2stores and JSPers are the ones whining against SSF because the can’t sell to SSFers or can’t use money and fg to cheat their way to the front of a SSF ladder.
Do you not realize you’re asking for offline mode with bot spam, rubber banding, and random maps, because your save file was corrupted? If the bug was fixed would you be on here complaining? The SSF leaderboard is just going to be filled with bots even more-so than the regular one. It’s pointless. Adding this mode would be a complete waste of resources because there’s a million other things they could be doing otherwise to improve the game.
its called " don’t waste time and resources on worthless things" when u have yet to fix important things.
once they get the chat UI working, and ban the spambots, then the UI and server people can give you your stupid mode to measure your e-peen, and see which one of you has the most free time.
but atm they are needed elsewhere.
what you fail to understand is “resources are limited”
and doing X generally means not doing Y.
and with X being worthless, and Y being important.
are you really that delusional?
we are against SSF becuase we want them to BAN the spambots, so we can TRADE and TALK in chat.
and you want to have THE EXACT TEAM REQUIRED TO DO THIS. and have them waste time and resources to give you online single player. where you can complain about lag spikes and losing your hardcore characters. because you think a “ladder” means something more than whoever has the most free time. you want to know who? its the botters and the streamers.
So outside of leaderboards, which lets assume are somehow magically not filled with bots and probably less than 100 people care about, what is the purpose of adding this mode?
But people play it mainly as multiplayer experience, not solo without trading… You dont need to play online for that.
But what is the point then? if its not ladder mechanic, why do it online? You can do it right now anyway , just play solo, done you have self found mode.
having more options is almost always a good thing
sure if we have too many options deciding can be a problem, “the netflix paradox”, but in d2r we have only 2, a third one being added sure is a good thing
im not the spokesman for the community and i dont claim to know the reasons people do what they do
for the same reason we have a HC mode
so if HC is reality, there is no reason a ssf shouldnt be
I was responding directly to Oliasys’s comically backward claim that bot farms and jspers want SSF.
Everyone that isn’t selling RMT goods wants spambots gone, but it will sadly never happen because they are essential to Blizzard’s bottom-line concerning D2R.
Debating over priorities for limited dev resources is a totally valid argument, so , but that is the only valid argument against SSF.
Sure, botters, streamers, and no-lifers are going to fill out the top spots. Following that logic though, we should get rid of all leaderboards.
I’ve said enough about how in reality a straight up normal race to 99 SSF ladder is pointless af. Refer to the dozens of other threads we’ve had these discussions in…
Regardless of whether you want SSF or not, you would have to be utterly delusional to believe there aren’t dozens of much more important things for blizz to spend their $50 weekly allowance on d2r…
