Socketed Gem bonuses not reflected on armor

I have Griswold’s Heart chest armor with 3 sockets. I added Perfect Diamonds to all 3 sockets, but the resistance bonuses are not reflected on the armor or on my character stat screen.

A perfect diamond adds in an amor +100 Attack Rating.

All resist is only in Shields.

Not a bug.

This information is right there, in-game, when you mouse-over the Perfect Diamond, before you put it in Griswold’s Heart Chest Armor.  

Enjoy your +300 to Attack Rating.
