Are there any new builds or items I should like? And was there a patch? I didn’t get a download?
Patch notes:
- Changed the number for the ladder season from 10 to 11.
There’s nothing new. Existing stuff was moved to non-season, so that everyone can start fresh, and that’s all.
It’s a race to see which bot can make it to first place.
literally no download at all. this is the most dead i’ve ever seen this game. D2r has a large enough amount of discovered bugs and needed balance changes to warrant a small patch at the very least.
Team Diablo sucks. I think it’s time the shareholders clean house. Completely focused on only D4, and D4 new season is abysmal trash anyway…
I doubt you’d devote resources to making changes to D2R if you ran Blizzard. It just isn’t enough for the, probably, 10,000 remaining players. In the decades to come, as more and more of the remaining players die (I know, morbid) the game won’t have any players. Its not attracting new people. Barely anyone under 40 is playing.
I have talked a few of my younger friends into buying it, because they’ve never played it. None of them kept with the game after a week to a month. Their feedback was the same thing I’ve been criticizing for years. There are just too many systems that deter them from getting invested.
Drop rates are too random and too infrequent. They can’t target farm specific items and they don’t really want to engage in a trade economy. They like trade, in that they’ll pass an item to me, or I will pass items to them. The difficulty spike of hell with damage immunities made them not want to play, at all. They didn’t want to overcome the challenge, or even do the META and skip entire areas.
my first year would be to literally devote full resources to making a D2 expansion that is 4 times the size of D2r and triple the class choices.
and it would sell more than D4.
nobody cares about your anecdotal story of 3 people. yes most “kids” today love fortnite. the only reason D2R isnt popping off as the definitive ARPG is because it’s stale. you can only replay Amazing so many times before you need a break.
the large majority of ARPG enjoyers would absolutely buy and play a D2 expansion, and i’d make sure the Dev team kept it as close to OG d2 experience as possible, along with a heavy emphasis on testing and balance.
FIRE TEAM DIABLO, AND HIRE ME.
This is why mr fake girl Bravata runs nothing. Absolutely clueless how real business world works. No matter how much you throw into d2r, it aint making a fraction of what d4 and inmortal pull in.
S h 1 t
Thats all they
literally lists 2 games that only exist because D2’s success…
literally thinks D4 and Immoral made money because the games they are and not because of people hoping for a game like D2.
literally believes using a popular IP to make money will make more money than using an IP to grow more fans.
literally has the same mindset of the marketing majors pretending to be blizzard dev’s.
Nuthin’ but a ‘B’ Thang
Stick with trying to be a fake girl, you have experience there. Running a business, LOL think sarah palin would do better with her eyes closed than mr fake girl trying to run blizz

At this point, I feel my ferret could run all Microsoft games better than them. D2r sold 10m on a remake and then grew. Ask the boyz over at d4 what it’s like to have your player base grow.
Check out the ladder leaderboard, and try to scroll down to characters who are level 80 something. You’ll be at hundreds of thousands of characters before you reach the 80s.
And that’s not even counting players like me, who haven’t touched the last 2 ladders, but still play the game.
Huh, player base or not just tell me profit earned from each title…you can look at any industry, whether cars or smartphones, blizz is a business not a charity, regardless of what you feel about their games, for their shareholders they know how to make money off current products, not many triple a developers make significant money, most are struggling to some degree. Sure some people prefer the older stuff, but no successful company actively supports their old crap like that especially when sales don’t support it. There is no problem if you want d2r to get support but there is no business case no matter what and threads like this make me feel very happy im not in business with folks like mr fake girl. I work for a fortune 500 company and we have a family rental business on the side, it is strictly about % of return, if that isn’t your goal in business go work for a nonprofit
You’d run your business into chapter 11.
And no, it wouldn’t. It didn’t.
Nobody cares about your opinion. The facts are clear. D2R has a few thousands players, at best. They know their MAUs better than anyone. The player dropoff before even season 1 was large. And season 2 was even more. “New” content, such as terror zones and the sunder charms didn’t bring back the bulk of players who bought the wave of nostalgia.
There is no “team Diablo” to fire and hire you to replace. This game is in maintenance mode, because it was a flash in the pan. It had no competition twenty years ago, and has an aging population. Much like the population of China, Japan and many other countries around the world, in the coming decades they’re going to shrink massively. Morbid, I know, but as you become decrepit and die off there won’t be anyone playing this game.
you’re very out of touch.
you think modern phone gaming with visual screen puke is the way to go, well that’s your opinion and sure you’ll make money off your Candy Crush, but dont call it gaming. I’ve literally never heard anyone say “Diablo Immortal is a great game”. Sure it made enough money for Blizzard to be happy, but it will never make Pokemon money. It’s never make Street fighter money. It’ll never make Final Fantasy money. It could have, but they used an IP to sell out for short term peanuts instead of growing the brand and making the fans happy.
you think people will continue to pay for sequel slop, and that going back to what made the game popular is going to bankrupt a company.
why do you think smash bro, mario kart, ect continue to sell more than Diablo Slop 4? because they sell cosmetics in their shops? or because they retain a gameplay first attitude and stick to the original core gameplay?
you literally dont think there is a Team Diablo handling all diablo games now. lol
out of touch af.
people like you and guitars are the same people they hired to make D4 and the latest star wars trilogy. take off the IP and rebrand those two things as something new, and they release dead on delivery. to think either of them dont owe their entire earnings to the original IP is a joke. D4 sales are completely due to people’s expectations for a Diablo 2 like game. Instead they got a Diablo Immortal like game.
