So many deleted characters

Honestly I always just press the Esc button and I still do and I think they should fix the lobby back to what it used to be (what happens when you press tab and copy paste, because it’s not great at the moment)

I feel so bad for all these people, Imagine all the loot they could trade with you and what can they add to the longevity of the game by keeping on playing, they are probably not the brightest of the bunch if that is how they have lost their character but mistakes happen
and they are part of the community, I know I wouldn’t have wanted to keep playing the current season if I lost all my progress like that

They should just remove that button for those people and find an alternative it is getting embarrassing how many complaints people have about that button

There was a Tech Support post relevant to the issue yesterday. The Tech Forum Support rep was reviewing complaints about missing chars, who unfortunately were not just missing. They were deleted. The issue of the accidental delete button was brought up. It appears Devs are aware and hopefully there will be a UI change.

That is good to hear, it got to the point where I see mostly only threads about this particular topic

It probably will be a lot of work helping them getting those characters back but at least they noticed the problem

On PC this is user error.
Apparently there is a controller key to delete. That should be addressed.

Both are considered user error in my opinion, it’s just that the controller one is much worse

They had the same issue in the beta and apparently the solution they found for launch didn’t pan out

There is no way to get the chars back. That data is gone. They can only prevent it in the future.

ouch that got to hurt, at least they know about the issue, probably should remove that option for a while haha
