…and I got just two sockets. If I use the act 5 quest to socket this shield, will I get the remaining 2 sockets that I need?

No you can’t use the quest on it if it already has sockets. That shield will have 2 sockets forever.

Oh, well. Back to farming another monarch on the cows then. I’ll use the quest to socket it next time.
