Tiger strike uses only main hand. So wouldn’t it make more sense to just go 1h + shield? I spent some skill points into weapon block only to find out about this… Already resetted my skills for normal, so have to wait till nightmare.
yes, TS only uses main hand weapon to attack. the offhand is only a stat-stick (e.g. +skills, resistances, main-stats…) and enables weapon block.
It’s up to you if you want to go 1h + shield or use an offhand weapon for most part of the game.
Shield gets higher %chance to block, but weapon block can block anything (including spells and projectiles). I would recommend weapon block if you ask me.
Finally you could aim for a 2h weapon as third option if wanted.
Imho your best advised to wait for now and see how your drop luck is and reset when needed.
