Dear all, I worked my way to level 27 as an assassin and decided to finally reset my skills to focus on traps. Up to that point, I was unsure as to what I wanted to do.
However, I went to reset the skills via Akara and inadvertently closed my window before setting all the skills, essentially leaving points behind. Now my character cannot use any of my magic items, etc. Have I totally f-d up my character? I put in dozens of hours and am about to just walk away. Thoughts on this?

after u click reset stats/skills, you have to press C or T to respec your attributes and skill points…I thought this is pretty common sense xD
I think OP means he can’t use any of his items lol… OP hope you know reset/respec affects both your skill points AND attributes points so you need to hit A or C and bring up character menu so you can get proper amount of strength/dex to wear your gear.
you can open the skill tree any time by hitting T or selecting the little plant icon to put in skill points.
Similarly (the reason you can’t use your gear) you can hit A or C or click on the character bust icon to put in stat points, make sure to check your gear to see what stats you need to use it and put points in to hit those requirements.

I’m impressed someone who is able to do things like install and play a game, find the official forums and log in and post, simultaneously can’t open up their character stat screen with the press of a single key.

OP is clearly new to the game and to be fair, there’s no “tutorial” and not much in the way of in-game explanation on how anything works.
But by all means let’s heap toxic abuse and ridicule onto someone who came here looking for help.
This sort of thing is what makes me smh any time anyone says something about the “community.”
You can only reach level 17 in an hour by cheating the system. Playing the game as intended makes it impossible to reach even level 15 in an hour
The difference between you and him is that he’s actually playing the game as intended, you are not.
the point is he should start over while hes fresh. hes too slow to go for the next respec reasonably and probably doesnt have the currency for a token yet either.
you should just give him a token instead of this out-of-place whiteknighting 
It is intended both for new players to take it slow and learn, and for experienced players to have learned builds and acquired gear so they can go fast.
