Even if they wind up not adding the Ladder words to SP, I am sure we’ll have a mod for it fairly quick. It is the only mod I have ever used, and I guess the only question is how hard will it be to implement for D2R. My guess? Not very difficult at all, but I have no knowledge of modding.
If -direct -txt mods still work, that’d be awesome for single player!
As a Ladder only player i say yes to all Runewords for SP.
I play ladder to mess with others and not for Runewords.
Killing a 90+er HC Char->yeah having a good time.

yeah, i hope they add ladder only runewords to single player. if not, it will definately have to be modded.
100% guaranteed to have a lot of shared stash and ladder only runeword in single player, through officially or mod.

this is a good change! as i also like to roam around in SP(mostly MP though)
I have played single player, open, bnet, and ladder bnet mostly ladder. I have also played for 20 years there should be the ladder items in single player for all those people who want to play it. If you need to add an SP after it or something so importing it into bnet somehow would be more difficult which I believe was the only reason they did not do this.
Yes I agree ladder runewords in singleplayer would be awesome. And no, mods don’t work for everyone, consoles won’t have any mods.
Um… I don’t think you understand, friend. Blizzard has addressed these issues, and there’s a good chance that you will be able to play, no matter where you are! You can even start your own private server, from my understanding, so that others in your predicament will be able to participate. Let’s wait and see!
If ‘online only’ status wrecks your game experience, the Switch version will have offline mode; not sure about PS4/5 version.
Further, current D3 game on Switch is far more enjoyable than on PC because of the ability to save progress and ability to play offline.
So far Blizzard said they are not adding ladder to SP. That doesn’t mean they won’t change their mind sometime in the future, though
