In act II cutscene, they travel into the east, but seems the sunrise is on the west and you can see the sunset in lut gholein which is pointing directly to the east, is that correct? Is the sun path from west to east?

Well, according to lore, Sanctuary is a large world, harsh, dark, and unforgiving one. The world possesses a single sun, single moon and beyond lie stars. But, in order to answer your question, we would need to know Sanctuary’s rotation around its axis. We need to know the celestial mechanics of Sanctuary.
We cannot assume Sanctuary spins towards the east (counter-clockwise or prograde rotation) like Earth, which makes the sun, planets and stars move westward across the sky. For example, some planets in our solar system rotate clockwise or retrograde rotation such as Venus and Uranus, which would make celestial objects move eastward in the sky.
The big assumption here is the fantasy world of Sanctuary obeys the laws of physics.
